This is one of my favorite 8BBC episodes. For one, the dual narrative of ruining a wedding, intertwined with winning a WWE champion title had me rolling. For two, Murphy was so willing to engage in the wedding meta-narrative, it had me in mind of hot date. Emily and Murph's chemistry was so solid today.

I feel like 8bit book club used to be more free form, and I liked them riffing on books (even though I always preferred when they would discuss real books, RIP) but now they don’t so much riff on books and hangout as handcuff themselves to a bit and refuse to make jokes about anything else… although the Mario episodes with Adam weren’t like that. Maybe these wrestling books are just cursed
