Laura

I can’t believe you guys are making me come on here and vehemently stand against this podcast’s frosty slander.

Vitor Magnanelli

Wow, main feed episode with a inside joke picture that I'll understand throughout the episode, thanks guys love y'all

Lucksack

DVD or PVP . Give the disc or we fight?

Katie Wilde

We are all shrutes of the nation in these trying times

Whenever I see a special thumbnail I know I'm in for a banger

David Lipscomb

If someone were to ask me if I wanted to eat 25 hard boiled eggs, I'd say no. However, if someone asked me if I'd like to eat 50 deviled eggs, I'd be like "fuck yeah!"

Rafael C

"[...] more like Minimum? Thanks" GET THEIR ASS MURPH

Jack M

Trying to guess what the photo is referencing before listening, maybe that’s Murph?

thiswayjose

MERRY HOGLIDAYS EVERYONE!!

Xacris

For the confession- the rules exist to facilitate the fun, the end goal is always having a good time. As long as the players leave having had fun, there is nothing to forgive

Joey Simon

I humbly accept the courts ruling. In the spirit of Dwight Shrute I will also force myself to eat beets while watching Battlestar Galactica.

Jack Jones

It's been there schedule for a long time now a week on and a week off

Alexander Mullarkey

Crucially, they asked for resurrection, not reincarnation. So like. Actually that genie GM is wrong.

Jacob B.

We are we are the shrutes of a nation

Matt Crowther

I'll take whatever I can get, they all make me laugh so much my stomach hurts

Wit & Whimsy

Came here to say this. DM said be careful about your wording, but then acted like reincarnation was the same as resurrection. Imagine if you wished for resurrection and the DM says the magic fails because revivify needs to be within a minute of your death which was in a time travelled past

Abram Buckler

Frosty the snowman was putting off real pebblepot vibes

Dylan silkysmooth

I’m so glad Murph understands the Over the Garden Wall struggle

Sam

I never have a good enough case, but just once I want someone to submit and refer to Jake as "Amir's friend".

Canid Duality

Frosty just told the ref he was submitting his money in the bank.

Maya B

You guys clearly haven't spent enough time around non-comedian millennials. The Office bits would make you the king of comedy in the average American office setting

Jack Campau

a quick addendum to the dogs: whatever amount of deviled eggs left at the end of the session are fed to the dogs. Now there's essentially mustard gas in the home and it's unusable from here on out

Ilana Galpert

caldwell knowing the names of all the reindeer off the top of his head is so on brand

Kass

Pennsylvania Dutch Critmas- let the glühwein flow!

Deck the courts with Bailiffs lowly, dun dun dun dun dun, dun dun-geon coooouuuurt

Potatochip Jenkins

Jake is right, Stink them out with the smelliest foods. 🫣

Doctor Ransom

Love Murph’s supreme Grinch energy. Where are all my fellow Grinches at? Stand up and be counted!

Big Green

Funnily enough, Read the Air is an actual cantrip in Pathfinder that would probably solve most of these cases

Jenna H

That DM needs to put their dogs away. I would absolutely quit playing if this happened more than once.

Kristina LaPointe

Something you did not ask for 😅 "Read the Room"-inspired by this episode 2nd-level divination Casting Time: 1 action Range: Self Components: V, S Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes You attune your senses to the atmosphere within a room or enclosed space. Creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, you gain insight into the general mood and emotions of those creatures. You sense whether the prevailing emotion is positive, negative, or neutral and gain a vague understanding of individuals' emotional states, such as anxiety, calmness, or agitation. Additionally, as an action on each of your turns while concentrating on this spell, you can focus your attention on a specific creature within range to gain a clearer insight into their emotional state and whether they are experiencing anxiety or not. At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the range increases by 10 feet for each slot level above 2nd

Lindsay R

Forever saying “jerboni” from now on, thanks Em

Jonny Pray

Had to rewind TWICE for that MAX/Minimum riff from Murph. Good job, dude.

Sophie Buijsen

Man, they're making content for your enjoyment. Don't be a Grinch.

Joey Simon

This is a fantastic point that I did not think of at the time. Mistakes were made. Hence why I'm being punished lol

Iwantweeklyreleases

“Mistakes are just homebrew that haven’t been play tested” 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

Jay S

done.

Jack Campau

flip a DVD to decide which to do Oppa Caldwell style

Lucksack

That is a fantastic idea!

gabe ryan

THE DOG THING I had a friend and his dogs would hump me every time I went over and as a guest I felt bad to try to almost "defend" myself. But I said enough was enough one day and when one came over I pushed him away, made eye contact and gave a demanding "No!" When he tried again I pushed him harder and repeated the line. After this happens about 5 times, I was never humped again....even by a woman

PlutoniumHeart

Dwight cosplayed as balnore cosplayo g the shrewd who is also the rock married to Martha Who XD

Oliver

About the dog DM - talk to them about it! It's not rude, I promise! Your DM clearly loves making their players happy and going above and beyond, and as a people pleaser myself, no thought is more horrifying than the idea that my friends are really uncomfortable and just not telling me about it. Communication is appreciated by all sides!

victheterror

nothing has ever been as unsettling as murph saying “don’t sing yet” and hearing NO ONE sing

Nick

To answer Emily’s question about intimidating dogs, really just put a bit of a growling tone on your voice while you say, “hey,” or, “no,” really whichever short thing you can say to grab there attention. This is advice I got from dog trainers when I had a husky.

Dan

Emily hasn’t seen the office? And yet she’s still funny? Wow folks I think we all learned something today #stfuabouttheofficeitwasagoodshowbuttherearegoodshowseverywheresotellmesomethingihaventheardpleaseimtired

Jess Mosher

You gotta shake a Pringles Can Full Of Coins (PCFOC) at the dog!!

Anthony Morgan

I don’t mean for this to sound rude but does Emily have any cultural knowledge? Every time someone brings up anything that has to do with like movies, tv, holidays, religion, history, etc she’s says she’s never heard of it. Is this a bit from long ago I somehow missed? I genuinely get confused everytime. I am as autistic and have a hard time with tone sometimes so maybe I just am misunderstanding. I mean absolutely no disrespect to her I genuinely think she’s one of if not the best dnd players I just am confused.

Krissy Beck

Eeee the Belsnickel! My family has a Pennsylvania Dutch ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and it’s the Belsnickel instead of Santa—is sleigh is pulled by cows and they don’t fly…they climb up on the roof. Also the whole thing is written so you have to read it in a PA Dutch accent and it’s DELIGHTFUL

Crescent Minor

Heh, I think she's actually just really unplugged. She has like, music to compose and stuff.

Katie Wilde

She's also talked about how her parent(s?) were teachers and she wasn't really allowed to watch TV as a kid, so she missed out on a lot of the media our generation otherwise considers ubiquitous. Not knocking her, I experienced the same thing for similar reasons (plus not really having money for cable tv or games haha). Also fwiw I think your question is valid and very kindly worded :)

Katie Wilde

Ok thanks A LOT for jamming this into my brain permanently 😂

Grace Bee

I was so happy to hear otgw get mentioned!

Grass

I also immediately bought over the garden wall on dvd when they said they were taking it off max

squalor and splendor

Justice for the grinch. He was brought there against his will and bullied relentlessly for being different. Who's are monsters

Nye-Low

All this talk about sending the picture to The Rock reminds me of Danhausen trying out The Rock’s energy drink.

constantXplorer

I feel like Emily had a nice buzz on during the reading of the shout outs, and it was endearingly cute.

Nicole Jordan

Caldwell you are valid in your office references because impish or admirable is what Dwight says so that seemed to be the vibe

Murph

Point of order, the whos in whoville ate roast beast, not roast beef

Josh M

“Mistakes are just homebrew that hasn’t been play tested yet” 🧦

Lauren P.

The trick or treat is getting an unlabeled dvd from a bag and seeing if it’s a pirated copy of the second Aladdin movie (the trick) or Jaws (the treat).
