I must admit that this one is somewhat autobiographical. I don't know if there's anyone who is more against Universes Beyond than myself, but wow, there are so many sweet build-arounds and cards with unique effects in the Warhammer 40k Commander decks. It's going to be hard for me to resist!

I've only black bordered one of my 7th ed cards, Spellbook. But I'm seriously tempted to buy some singles and sharpie them to remove the art and types. I've also NEVER been more OK with people making magic world style proxies of that. 40k is so jaring to me and not why I play Magic. I'd rather play against a shoe tree or Any other really bad silver border card than any of the cross over IPs. Heck play your proxy power 9 in no ban commander! I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade , but it is really upsetting to me that Magic is now forcing players to use the IP Cross over stuff.

I'm still on defense, I don't see the need except for the FMO, Maybe if I find a really good deal, definitely not paying markups.

I like 40k, but it shouldn't be getting mixed with MTG. It's like putting pizza in a fruit smoothy. Like, D&D fit the theme pretty well, but WH40k doesn't fit in the MTG universe

Yeah, I'm with you. I'm so annoyed. So many cool cards and they just aren't "magic"....
