Any Stax players here? If so, reveal yourself!

I still remember playing against Turbo Stasis for the first time 25 years ago. Amazing to think that such a miserable deck was a competitive in Standard (Type II).

Lol, raises both hands. If there's a viable Prison strategy in a format, I'll usually take it. But Turbo Stasis was my nemesis back then as I played a ton of Necro during Black Summer. Necro itself was always about resource denial too (Hymn, Strip Mine, Sinkholes in Eternal formats, etc.), so I guess I just consider myself a "Resource Denier".

Ha, I was a Necro player back in the day as well. The play pattern of drawing a whole new hand of cards at the end of each turn was so satisfying. I still can't believe that Necro was reprinted in 5th edition, but I wasn't going to complain!
