0.7 – What the Hell Are We Doing??? (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

First of all, I apologize for not bringing any news these past few days.

This update we’re working on is quite different from everything we’ve done before, mainly because we’re dealing with MP4 files now. Video editing isn’t exactly our strong suit — we’re still learning as we go.

On top of that, everything I had produced with AI until last week had to be discarded (not because the results were bad, but because I couldn’t remove the gray backgrounds around them). And that really pissed me off!!!

Well… that problem was solved after a lot of testing (and there were many tests — I thought dealing with AI would be easier). So since Wednesday of this week I’ve been writing prompts and rendering new videos. These ones will actually be used!

Cap’n Flash has also been working on an image/chart so we can show progress in percentages, as you can see above. That should bring a bit more transparency about what we’re doing.

I’m almost finishing a new scene, I got pretty frustrated with ComfyUI this week, wrote a few dialogues… resolved some family drama (I don’t know why my family can’t go two weeks without finding something to complain about). Just normal stuff, really…

Except for the day I went for a walk with my little dog Lucy. Some old man stopped me in the middle of the sidewalk to tell me he doesn’t leave the house anymore without sunlight because they spotted some wild animals in the area… nothing out of the ordinary so far. The only thing is that it was around 9 PM, and around here there’s usually no sun at that time… so I thought, either I’m losing my mind or he is…

Anyway… I got a bit off-topic. Well… we’ll bring more news next week, I promise!
