Mermay #3 - female kelpie (Jonna) x male reader (nsfw) (Patreon)
Content
Whoop! It's week three of Mermay somehow!! And it's time for a female monster. It's been ages since I've written a female non-human (or a male reader), so I'm anxious to see if you enjoy this one too - it's a long one at nearly 8k! Although the reader is male, and there is an nsfw scene, the rest of the story is relatively gender neutral.
Contents: male reader on a long road trip in his van, and makes a stop in Evergreen Glade, a town about 150 miles from Starfall Springs. He meets a really big centaur, a very beautiful woman, and goes for drinks with her... After finding out something about her that he wasn't expecting, he decides to leave the next day and head on to Starfall Springs, only to realise his mistake... Fluff, story, angst, and nsfw.Words: 7982
Next up will be a male orca mer, and if anyone remembers him, it's Viggo from sharkman Tai's story (Tumblr link). Hope you're keen for that too (it'll be for all tiers).
You reached for your thermos mug, only to remember that it was empty - and had been for the last fifty miles - and you growled.
Van life was… not quite as romantic as the Instagrammers and YouTubers made it out to be, that was for sure. It was cold, at times a little bit sketchy, dirty, and really fucking exhausting. Sure, you’d had some of the best experiences of your life since setting out on this somewhat insane road trip, but you’d also hit some pretty low times too.
Last night you’d slept perhaps three hours in total, and the caffeine had long since worn off. Blinking to refresh your prickling eyes, you sighed. A road sign up ahead announced that you were three miles from a place called ‘Evergreen Glade’, and on a whim, you decided to stop there. You’d planned to try and push on to Starfall Springs, knowing that there was a campsite you could park at with the van, but both you and the van were running on fumes, and you needed to stop.
The road took you through a dense pine forest, emerging at the top of an incline onto the main street of what was obviously a former logging town. There was even a petrol station at that end, so you and the van chugged in and drew up.
With the van refuelled, it was time to see to yourself.
The buildings scrolled past like a beautiful old film set as you drove along the main street, with inviting, hand-painted signs for gallery-cafes and antique shops, quaint little jewellers and shops selling hiking equipment. How every road-tripper passing through this part of the country hadn’t Instagrammed the shit out of this place was a mystery to you, but you parked up your modest old van and hopped out, stretching the pent-up stiffness from your neck and spine.
A gnoll was selling ice creams from a little push-cart on the corner, wearing a cute little pink apron with the company’s logo on, and as a faun and her little girl drew up to order one, you watched them exchange warm, easy-going laughs; clearly this was a community that got along well. A tight anxiety that had been brewing in your chest eased a little. You’d seen enough creepy towns on your trip to know you didn’t want to linger long in another if you didn’t have to.
Pausing beside an inviting gallery and cafe, with bright, white-and-pastel interiors and a variety of art on the walls from traditional to ‘more-wacky-than-you-were-qualified-for’, you let your eyes skim down the menu outside and were surprised to find the prices extremely reasonable. Most artsy places like that charged an arm and a leg for a luke-warm cup of mildly caffeinated froth, but if the giant slab of cake on one patron’s plate was anything to go by, this place seemed more than worth it, and you pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Freshly ground coffee and the enticing scent of sugary pastries and cakes filled the air and instantly your mouth began to water as you joined the back of a short queue to order.
To your surprise, the person standing behind the counter and making drinks was a colossal centaur. If this was indeed an old logging town, he looked like he should be the one hauling the timber down the mountain, but instead, he was artfully making cappuccino froth into a panda for a customer. The juxtaposition was so jarring it almost gave you whiplash.
He had the lower body of a Shire horse, with a glossy black coat and fluffy white feathers which were just visible behind the counter as he moved about, setting the steel pot of frothed milk down and reaching for a plate on which to set a brownie the size of a house brick. He was even clad in a flipping red tartan ‘lumberjack’ shirt, with his long black hair tied back into a scruffy bun at the nape of his thick neck. His arms were massive too, and obviously and enviably muscled, and around his anvil of a jaw was a close-cropped, dark beard, flecked attractively with white. He nudged the brownie and cappuccino towards an elf waiting at the front, who turned gracefully and headed for a table.
Warm, honey-brown eyes flickered briefly over in your direction as you entered, and you flashed him a quick smile. He jutted his chin upwards by way of a gruff greeting, and then turned back to his work for the woman in front of you who was currently leaning against the rustic, dark-topped wooden bar.
When you saw her, you wondered how on earth you could possibly have missed her, but you’d been so distracted by the unexpected sight of a huge centaur in a dainty, pastel-themed coffee shop that perhaps it was understandable. As she turned to see who the centaur had been looking at, you found your breath catching and your mind stalling. She had to be Fae. White hair fell around her porcelain face in soft waves, coming halfway down her back, and her eyes were large and definitely inhuman somehow, the colour of forget-me-nots and shining with a too-bright glimmer.
Her clothes looked handmade too, perfectly tailored to her body which wasn’t quite as waifish and willowy as you’d first thought. Wearing a loose, white, sleeveless tunic, belted at the waist and ending halfway up her thighs, and ash-grey leggings that disappeared into soft, leather boots, she had toned, strong arms and her shoulders were dappled with beautiful, barely-there freckles.
The centaur caught you staring and scowled a little from behind her, but the young woman only smiled at you.
Her rosebud mouth curled into an extraordinarily pretty smile that left your heart racing, her cheeks dimpling, and then she turned back to take her drink from the centaur and spoke. In a delicately accented voice, she thanked him and wished him and his family well. “I’ll be by tomorrow with those paintings you wanted for the display in the corner,” she added.
The centaur - apparently called Finn - nodded, looking almost as thunderstruck as you felt, but he recovered more quickly.
The Fae woman met your gaze once more and smiled again, nodding. “Hi,” she said as she passed you, and as she left the cafe, it felt like she took all the air out with her.
As you stepped up to the counter, you asked, “Is she a local artist then?”
“Yeah,” the centaur smiled, though he looked a little curiously at you, and then pointed at the wall on the left of the counter. “That’s Jonna’s work there.”
Your eyebrows rose as you took in the canvasses on the wall that showed stunning oil paintings of the forest, punctuated with shafts of clear light and peppered with tiny flowers. Some of them were tiny close up studies of animals too, with a magpie looking back at the viewer over its shoulder, the background nothing but gold leaf, and framed in a chunky black frame. There was a bee too, a white peacock, and a few crows. She had a few more abstract ones as well, but the animals and forest took centre stage.
“Wow,” you murmured, forgetting all about the primal need for caffeine that had been burning away at you for the last few hours. Something about them seemed familiar, but you couldn’t quite pinpoint it.
Clearing his throat, the centaur chuckled. “So, what can I get you?”
“Oh.” You jumped a little and cast your eyes back to the chalkboard on the wall at the back of the shop before ordering.
He nodded and set to work. “Can I tempt you to something to eat as well?” he added over his colossal shoulder.
“Oh my god, can you?” you snorted. “This all looks amazing. You make it yourself?”
“Mmm,” he nodded.
You cast your eye along the refrigerated display, seeing that there was something for almost everyone, from a triple-layered vegan sponge cake to werewolf-friendly chocolate brownies and everything in between. You even glimpsed a separate fridge to one side that appeared to cater for vampires, but you decided not to let your eyes linger on that in case your appetite evaporated. Settling on something suitably decadent and filling, you paid and decided to eat in, heading over to a table in the window with your order to watch the world go by for a little while.
The shop was busy, and while most people came in to indulge in the baking and coffee, a few browsed the art on the wall and in the display cases, and one or two even made purchases. Jonna seemed to be something of a local celebrity, and her art was certainly the most popular, but you were sitting too far away to hear precisely what people were saying.
After taking a photo of your food and sticking it with the cafe’s name up on Instagram - something you’d taken to doing since setting off on your own personal odyssey and which had garnered you a few followers - you leaned back in the creaky little seat and enjoyed the moment for what it was; respite from the constant rattle and rumble of the van and the endless weariness of the road. A yawn stretched your jaw and you tipped your head back, lolling and luxuriating in the moment of stillness.
Eventually though, you got restless but decided to grab something for the road before you left. You could always have cake for breakfast when there was no one else to judge you for it anyway. Just as you’d gone back to the counter to order, the door opened behind you and Finn looked up and laughed fondly, tongs in his hand as he slid a pastry into the takeaway box.
“You forget something?” he asked and you looked over your shoulder to see Jonna practically skipping back inside. You might have been embarrassed at the four enormous pastries that the centaur was loading into a box for you, but they looked so good that you couldn’t quite muster up the shame. Let the beautiful woman think what she liked about you anyway - it wasn’t as if you were planning to hang around.
Seeing your cardboard takeaway box, she grinned and said, “Looks like someone’s got the same idea as me! I completely forgot to get a raspberry frangipane and that was the whole reason I came in here!”
“Coming right up,” Finn said with a little bow. “I’ll just finish this one.”
“No rush,” she chimed, and then looked at you. “You’re on holiday here?”
You shrugged. “Passing through in my van. I’m heading to the coast, to Starfall Springs, but I needed to fill her up.” You shot the pastries a look where they rested on the counter while Finn went to the till, and added, “Me too.”
“Where are you from?” Jonna asked, still smiling with dimples in her smooth cheeks.
As you wondered why she was making the effort to keep talking to a slightly grubby bloke in a van, and tried not to feel like a school boy in front of her - damn but her beauty was distracting - you swallowed thickly and said, “I’m actually on a road trip. Last night I was up in Kirkfold, but my caffeine ran out about fifty miles back, so I had to pull in here…”
Her beautiful face melted into a frown and she said, “You’re not driving on to Starfall today, are you? That’s easily another hundred and fifty miles… My cousin lives there, and the roads aren’t exactly highways from here on out…”
You sighed. “No, I’ll probably find somewhere to park the van around here for tonight. I’ve been living out of her for the last six months, so I’m used to the routine by now. Would be good to find somewhere with some fresh water though… my drinking water is running a bit low.”
Finn passed you your change and said, “You could park up on my land if you need somewhere?”
Your initial reaction was to refuse because you’d been in one or two hairy situations in the past where you’d thought people were being generous, and in fact it turned out differently. The centaur clearly saw your reticence and shrugged. “Up to you. I live up on the land that borders the forest behind Margaret’s Bar on the east end of the town. My family owns the big farm up there - Rookery Farm. You can’t miss the sign. Just come on up later if you change your mind.”
“Thanks,” you said, pocketing the coins. “I… I appreciate that.”
Jonna tilted her head curiously. Whatever her question was, she didn’t voice it, and after Finn had passed her the box with her own order in, she said, “Maybe if you do stay, I’ll see you at Margaret’s Bar later.”
Your eyebrows rose, but you nodded, rasping, “Yeah…” as she smiled at both of you and then waltzed out, her floaty, loose tunic whirling softly as she turned.
“She has that affect on a lot of people,” Finn chortled.
You shot him a sidelong look and found that he was eyeing you with what looked like puzzlement again.
“But she doesn’t ask them out for drinks,” he added, dark brows furrowed.
Unsure what to say to that, you gestured with the box of pastries. “Thanks for these, and for the offer of a parking space. I… I think I’ll take you up on it, if I may?”
“Sure thing. I’ll text mum to let her know you’ll be turning up. It’s technically her farm, but… she won’t mind.”
“You sure? You want to check first?”
He shook his head and grinned. “If you cause any trouble, I’ve got three brothers and one sister, and they’re all bigger than me…”
“No fucking way,” you hissed and he guffawed.
“You best believe it. We all take after our ma…”
“Maybe I should be worried then,” you said but he shook his head.
“The only thing you need to worry about is whether she’ll bring down a hundred Tupperware boxes of leftovers for you for the road…”
You looked away, oddly touched by the kindness of these people. “She doesn't need to do that. I’ve got my own food… I don’t want to impose on anyone.”
“You probably won’t get much of a choice…” he said, “But I’ll tell her to go easy on you.”
In fact, Finn’s mama wasn’t around when you parked up in a quiet, empty spot outside the hay barn, but an hour later and she was knocking on the side of the van to introduce herself, a huge apple pie in one hand. At seven that evening you found Margaret’s Bar on your phone’s map. You could apparently walk it, so you headed down the track from the centaurs’ farm and stepped inside the bar fifteen minutes later.
With dark wooden flooring and exposed brickwork, copper and brass features, and an entire wall of bottles behind the bar, Margaret’s was gorgeous. Tables were dotted here and there, with banquettes and tables along one wall, and, sitting at the bar chatting with an elf with long, black hair, was Jonna.
Nerves fizzled along your skin as you approached, but when the elf nodded in your direction, whipped her head around and grinned at the sight of you in a way that made your stomach flip over. Haloed by white-blonde hair, she looked as ethereal here as she had in the bright sunlight earlier. She hopped off the stool and even hugged you briefly, saying how glad she was that you’d come and turning to the elf to insist that your first drink was on her. You inhaled the scent of her hair and felt the room spin slightly; she smelled of fresh morning mist and pine trees. She had to be a Fae of some kind, surely?
“Why is everyone in this town so nice?” you asked warily as you slid onto a bar stool beside Jonna. “And why haven’t I heard of this place? I’m beginning to think it’s all some kind of trap to lure in lonely road-trippers…”
The elf barked a laugh. “It’s a small place, but we care for people here. What can I get you?”
You ordered, and while the elf made your drink, Jonna began to ask you about life on the road. To your surprise, you found yourself opening up to her, and even showing her your Instagram. She took your phone into her pale, delicate hands when you turned the screen towards her, and began to scroll through the photos you’d posted there as if it were all the most fascinating thing she’d ever seen.
“They’re nothing special,” you said, cheeks hot as she examined the interior of your van, an old pine cone you’d found on a trail a few stops back, a selfie with you and a cute dog you’d met outside a grocery store…
“It must be hard though,” she said as she handed it back to you. “I mean, it’s beautiful and you’ve seen so many places, but… you don’t ever stop in one place long? Get to know it?”
You shook your head. “Nah. I’ve been on the road for months now.” You rolled your eyes with no small degree of self-deprecation as you added, “‘Finding myself’ or whatever…”
“It’s good to take time to yourself,” she said, sipping a strange looking, dark green drink that instinctively made you think of pond water. “I think so many people never discover what makes them truly happy, you know?”
You didn’t mean to sound bitter as you snorted into your own, more normal looking drink, “Does anyone ever find that?”
“I think I have,” she said sheepishly, stirring the pond water drink with her straw.
“You mean your art?”
“Mmm,” she hummed. In the half-light of the bar, she looked utterly enthralling, and you happily sat there and listened as she began to talk about her painting. She made her own pigments from the earth and from berries, from wood ash and plants, mixing them in the spring water on her land, and she rather bashfully told you she’d sold paintings all over the world.
Tiredness washed over you as the evening drew on and you tried not to stare openly at her. The way she moved her hands, the way her lips curled when she smiled, the dimples in her cheeks and the slight crinkle at the corners of her eyes when she got really passionate about something, were all enchanting, and you found it hard to breathe, let alone keep up with the conversation. To find someone this enthusiastic about life was like catching the perfect wave and feeling the thrill of being carried along by it.
“It’s getting late,” she murmured shyly some time later. “And you’ve had a long day…”
Right on cue, you gave another jaw-cracker of a yawn and nodded. “Great way to end it though,” you smiled, chinking your empty glass against hers. “Thank you.”
“I had fun,” she smiled. “And thank you for the drinks,” she said as she set her second - now empty - glass of the ‘pond water’ cocktail back down on the bar. What it really was, you weren’t sure, but you hadn’t wanted to ask and look ignorant. It was probably fancy. With kale or something.
“Pleasure,” you said. “You want me to walk you home?”
“You’re staying with Finn’s family, right?”
“Yeah. Well, outside their hay barn, but yeah.”
“I live just up beyond his property, so I’ll walk you home instead. It’s on my way.”
“Fair enough.”
Outside, the air was cooler and fresher than it had been earlier, the sun’s warmth soaking into the ground as the chill of night descended, and you shivered at the change. It cleared your head a bit too, which was nice. Jonna, however, seemed unaffected by the temperature. She’d changed into a soft blouse and pale blue jeans, though it was cold enough to warrant a jumper.
“You warm enough?” you asked and she nodded. “You can borrow my jacket if you like.” The idea of her nuzzled up in your jacket seemed extremely inviting.
Her smile blazed bright like the moon and she reached out and squeezed your arm briefly in strong, pale fingers. “No, but thank you. That’s very kind of you.”
You didn’t talk much as you walked up the farm track together in the near total darkness. A dog began barking in the yard, but the sound was too distant to worry about. The van sat in the lea of a large hay barn, and when Jonna saw it she smiled. “I like her,” she said, looking up at you with her ebullience undimmed by the lateness of the hour.
“She’s old…” you complained. “But she’s alright…”
Jonna laughed, and you felt - not for the first time - that you would love to kiss her. The tilt of her head as she laughed, the light in her eyes, the long lashes…
As if she sensed it, she lowered her head shyly and then looked tentatively up at you through those lashes. “I guess this is goodnight,” she said in a barely-there voice. “I hope to see you around before you go… I’ll be at Finn’s tomorrow morning hanging paintings if you want to come and say goodbye…”
“Maybe I won’t have to move on straight away,” you found yourself saying, apparently out of nothing. “Maybe I could stay a while…”
“I’d like that, for sure,” she said. Then, before you could think, she had cupped your jaw gently in her chilly hand and pressed the lightest of kisses against your lips. “Goodnight,” she murmured, breathing your name afterwards like she hardly dared articulate it.
Swaying, unable to process what had happened quickly enough, you watched her go, laughing softly as she walked up the sloping farm yard and clambered over a five-bar gate before dropping easily down into the long grass of the field beyond. Her pale clothes made her look like a ghost, and as she melted away into the night, you almost wondered if anything that night had been real. This whole place had that strange, liminal feeling that made you question everything, but not until it had happened.
It took a long time for you to stop feeling so dazed, but as you lay in bed that night, unable to sleep, your thoughts turned to her again. You found yourself imagining her hands on a different part of your body, and in no time you were hard and sliding your hand beneath the covers and taking yourself in your hand. With a muffled grunt, you came a short while later into your hand, head spinning and blood pounding, with the lingering sensation of her lips on yours.
Next morning as you made yourself breakfast in the van, you opened up Instagram out of habit while waiting for the coffee to brew. A respectable number of likes littered your notifications, along with a couple of comments. Some were spam, and you deleted those, but there was one that caught your attention.
On the photo you’d posted from Finn’s amazing bakery, someone had said, “OMG isn’t that near where @jonnahastein lives? You should totally check out her art!!!”
Frowning, you followed the link and found to your astonishment that she had thousands and thousands of followers on her Instagram alone, and there was a link to a YouTube page on her profile. Clicking it, you found yourself confronted with a plethora of videos about life in the forest, painting, vlogs, art… “Holy shit,” you breathed, heartbeat thudding.
Jonna was actually pretty famous.
You contemplated not going to Finn’s that morning at all, and just bolting and driving on to Starfall. She was famous and clearly successful, and you were a nobody, living out of the back of a rusty old van, with no goals and no prospects just yet, and no clue what you were going to do when you got to the next town over, let alone with the rest of your life.
But something made you pause. It was the way she’d listened, looked at you with glittering eyes, and asked you all about your journey as if it was the most fascinating thing she’d ever heard. To her, you’d been interesting. And she’d never once mentioned her YouTube channel or being famous, and she’d just let you talk about the things in life that currently mattered to you. She was kind, interesting, creative, and by all the gods was she beautiful. She was also probably not human either, you reminded yourself.
In the end, after thanking Finn’s truly colossal mother for letting you stay and for filling up your water tank (and mini fridge), you drove into town and parked up outside Finn’s cafe. For some reason, you were relieved to find that she wasn’t there yet, but you couldn’t help staring at the artwork of hers on the wall.
Finn came over to you, the cafe almost empty, and said, “You didn’t know, did you?” he asked.
Without taking your eyes from a painting of an ancient, moss-riddled tree stump, you snorted. “That she’s a famous YouTuber? No… I only found out this morning by chance. She never mentioned it.” After a moment you added, “She’s really talented.”
“She is. She’s also usually very cautious about who she gets to know. There must be something different about you.”
When you looked up, you saw that he had his gigantic arms folded across his chest, biceps bulging in a blue tartan shirt that day. Your throat went a bit dry and you tried not to squeak as you said, “Maybe she liked the fact that I didn’t know who she was?”
As you said that, the realisation of those words plunged through you like a boulder. It would be different now that you did know. Whatever magic you’d had for her would have gone. You were no longer something unusual in her life, someone who didn’t know who she was. Now, you were just like everyone else.
“I’m glad she gave me a chance. Listen… maybe you can say thanks for me. I’m, uh… heading off today anyway. I’ll be sure to subscribe to her channel though.”
And with that, you turned without ordering a coffee for the road or waiting to meet Jonna, and left Finn standing there looking troubled.
The van spluttered to life, and you gunned it out of town at the van’s top speed of thirty eight miles an hour.
That night, as you drew into the campsite at Starfall Springs, with eyes prickling from the long drive and muscles sore, you sat on the van’s floor with the sliding door open and looked through her YouTube channel. You hit ‘subscribe’ and then shoved your phone into your pocket.
A week later as you sat in a cafe in the heart of Starfall Springs to use their wifi, you saw that Jonna had uploaded a new video called ‘Crossing Paths’. Curious, you clicked on it, and nestled your ear buds into your ears to listen.
It was a beautifully shot vlog, featuring some drone footage flying through the pine forest, out over the mirror-smooth surface of a large, slate blue lake, and then up into the sky for the title script to play. Her voice sounded a moment or two later, and you sat there, entranced yet again by her as she spoke this time about that feeling when you meet a stranger but feel like you’ve known them for ages, and how missed opportunities can feel so crushing. Your heart slipped sideways in your chest.
She was talking about you. She had to be.
You scrolled, panic-stricken, through the comments, but they were only offering her support and encouraging her to get in touch with this person. One or two offered to put out a hit on the person who had made her feel like that, which made you a little wary, but as she neared the end of the video, her gentle voice said, “I don’t think he even knew who I was, which made it feel really special somehow,” and you knew what you wanted to do. “I can only wish him safe travels, and I hope he finds what he’s looking for out there.”
Your heart hammered wildly, but you didn’t know what to do. You didn’t have her number, and the chances of her picking out your message from what had to be hundreds of thousands of DMs and comments had to be astronomical. Still, it had to be worth a shot. You had to try.
It took three more days for you to work up the courage to send her a message on Instagram, but you chickened out of mentioning that you’d seen the video. Instead you said who you were and how you knew her, and that you’d had no idea who she was when you’d met.
>>I know. Finn said he talked with you at the cafe. I’m glad you got in touch. Did you make it ok to Starfall Springs?
<< Yeah. I feel shitty about just leaving like that… I’m sorry. I think I freaked out a bit…?
She didn’t respond for a couple of days, and you’d begun to think she was too disappointed in you to bother.
>> Where are you headed next?
<< Not sure.
<< I haven’t planned that far ahead.
>> Stop by Evergreen Glade if you’re planning on coming back up this way.
You stared at the words for a long time before replying.
<< Thanks. Wasn’t sure I’d get a second chance.
A few seconds later you added a second message.
<< So, I saw your latest video on YouTube…
>> I meant what I said at the end about finding what you’re looking for.
With your phone held precariously in trembling fingers, you murmured aloud, “I think I already did…”
Instead of sending something so grossly cheesy, you settled for a humbler truth.
<< I could come back anyway…
>> I don’t want to interrupt your travel plans because of what I said in that video… Also I feel like I should tell you that I’m not human.
<< You wouldn’t be interrupting. I have no plans. And I kind of figured that much. Do I need to know more?
She didn’t reply immediately, leaving you on tenterhooks for a few hours. What you got in return surprised you.
A photograph of a milk-white horse standing beside the shores of a black lake that looked familiar from her videos pinged up in the message thread. The hair of the horse’s mane and tail were spectacularly long and wavy, calling to mind the thick locks that adorned Jonna’s head. With the water and the equine theme, there was really only one option.
<< Kelpie?
>> Yes. It’s not something I’ve ever talked about on my channel, and not many people know outside of Evergreen Glade.
<< I won’t tell.
>> Didn’t think you would, somehow. Does it change anything?
Did it? As if her being a famous YouTuber wasn’t intimidating enough, now you had to find out she was potentially a human-eating Fae…
<< Not gonna lie… it’s a bit intimidating, but I guess it doesn’t change who you are. I’d still like to see what happens. So long as you promise not to eat me…
>> I’m vegetarian. No eating, or drowning, of anyone. I promise. Bad for business.
>> Seriously though, I understand if it’s a bit much.
<< It’s not, actually. Makes sense that you’re Fae too… :). Honestly, I didn’t know you felt the way I did after one round of drinks, but I should probably have guessed from that kiss on the doorstep of my van. If you want to give it a go, I’d love to.
As an afterthought, you added:
<< Just don’t put me on YouTube.
The next day, you made the one hundred and sixty mile journey back to Evergreen Glade, and instead of driving into the centre of town, you followed her instructions to drive to Rookery Farm and meet her there.
With no small degree of trepidation, you and the van lurched down the driveway, flanked by an open pasture full of cows on one side and dense pine forest on the other, but when you finally lurched to a halt in the farmyard, your fears melted. Jonna stood by the old stone mounting block in the wall near the hay barn, petting the farm dog under the chin. He began to bark as you cut the engine and stepped out, but Finn’s mother emerged from the farm house and called him over, waving once at you before disappearing inside again.
Jonna almost skipped over to you, smiling, white hair bouncing and flailing with each light, dancing step she took. You opened your arms and she flung herself at you, laughing. “I’m so glad you came back,” she said. “Thank you. Thank you for taking this chance!”
Relief washed through you, taking all the stress of the long drive with it. She felt so right in your arms. Wisp-thin, but full of a wiry, primeval strength. The urge to kiss her was once again almost overwhelming, but instead, you leaned back and laughed softly. “I can’t believe you made a video about me!”
Jonna scoffed and stepped back, lightly smacking your chest. “I make videos about everything in my life. You’re not that special.”
“Oh, ok,” you snorted playfully. “Well, in that case, I’ll just drive all the way back to Starfall Springs then… Didn’t you say you had a cousin who lived there? Maybe they’re nicer than you…”
“You’re horrible,” she giggled. “But he is into men, so…”
“I’m kidding. I’m also exhausted… Where do you think I should park up?”
She eyed the van and then said, “I think she’ll make it up the track to my house.”
“You ‘think’?”
“I know. Come on. Stop fussing.” And with that, she crossed to the passenger side and hopped in.
You were a bit ashamed of the crumbs on the seat, but she didn’t seem to mind as she settled in and directed you through the farmyard and up a rutted track into the woods. It was difficult to keep your eyes on the road with her sitting there, but somehow you managed.
After five minutes or so, a quaint little stone house to swung into the headlights’ beams, and once you had parked up, she led you inside. Half of the humble stone cottage was a painting and sculpture studio, but there was a bed in the far corner of the other side, as well as a tiny kitchen and a door which you assumed led to a little bathroom.
“It’s not much,” she said bashfully. “Shower’s through there if you want to freshen up. What would you like for supper?”
“Whatever going…?” you said and she laughed again.
“It’ll be veggie. No allergies or preferences though?”
You shook your head.
After you’d showered and changed - much to your relief - you sat down to eat with her, and after dinner, she pulled you gently towards her bed.
“Jonna,” you breathed, regret billowing in your chest. You wanted it. You wanted it more than you wanted to breathe, but something was telling you to slow down. This felt more real and yet more fragile than anything you’d ever experienced.
She sighed but nodded, reading it all in your face easily enough. The fact that she understood left you almost as weak-kneed as her beauty did. “Can I kiss you goodnight?” she asked, tucking a strand of silver-blonde hair behind her ear.
It was you who took her delicate, porcelain jaw in your hands and drew her close. Her lips were so soft, and you moaned as she rocked against you, hands snaking through your hair, tugging. She kissed you like she was never going to see you again, and the force of it made your cock stiffen. Breathless, you stepped back, panting, and looked into her blue eyes with their pupils blown massive.
“See you tomorrow,” she rasped and you swallowed, still a little dazed.
“Yeah.”
It was a long time before you could sleep that night, and when you woke the next morning, it was to the sound of hooves on the hard earth surrounding her house and the van.
Grunting, you sat up and peeked through the window, blinking in astonishment. There, walking in lazy, restless circles, was Jonna. But she wasn’t in her human form. The milk-white mare was just as you’d seen her in the photo she’d sent, but she seemed to glow in the morning light. Every inch of her was blinding white, except for her eyes which, when she spotted you staring, lit up. Jonna tossed her head and whickered, prancing.
“I’m coming,” you grumbled. “Gimme a minute.”
Outside, dressed and still barely conscious, you stood there and let her approach. It felt like a dream. She wasn’t huge like this, but nor was she a delicate little pony.
“Can you talk?” you asked stupidly.
Jonna shook her head and snorted, clearly amused by your ignorant question.
“Ok… Did you just want to show me you like this, or did you have something else in mind. Remember you promised not to drown and eat me…” It sounded so petty to remind her of that now.
The roll of her eyes was more than expressive enough and you laughed.
She turned side-on to you and extended a foreleg in a kind of bow, lowering herself down a little and gesturing at her back with her nose. “You want me to climb on?”
Jonna nodded.
“I can’t ride…”
Another eye roll.
“Fine, but if I fall off and hit my head, you’re taking me to the hospital. As a human, mind you.”
The kelpie snorted and pawed the ground impatiently.
Getting on was inelegant, as you were afraid of yanking her mane or hurting her, but eventually you were safely settled on her back, and suddenly you realised that you literally couldn’t slip. It was physically impossible for you to shift. Fear gripped you but she turned and gently nuzzled your knee with her nose, breathing warm air.
Trust me.
Exhaling all but the most determined of your nerves, you nodded. “What now?”
Jonna took you through the forest, along tiny, well-trodden paths, carpeted with pine needles, until she finally came to the shores of the black lake you’d seen in her videos. The mossy grass that carpeted the forest rolled out beyond the trees, almost right up to the water, with only the narrowest slither of shingle in places for a beach.
The kelpie stopped at a particularly deep and spongy patch of moss on the edge, and shifted her legs slightly beneath you. The motion was enough to send you slithering to the ground with an indignant squawk. So much for not being able to fall off.
With a rush of swirling mist, the horse reared up and in her place stood Jonna, naked, laughing quietly, and so stunningly beautiful that your brain shorted out for a second. Her hair fell and almost covered her breasts, but you could see her darker nipples through the strands of white silk. The sight of them made you ache to take them in your mouth and suck, just to see how she’d react. Your jeans tightened several sizes around your crotch at that, and you rolled your eyes, lying on your back, propped up on your elbows.
She came towards you then and knelt beside you.
“Jonna… You don’t… You don’t have to do this to make me stay…” you said hoarsely. “I’m not going to go anywhere.”
She smiled and put a finger to your lips. “I know. I want this. And I know you want it too.”
“Yes,” you said, slack-jawed as she began to undo your jeans.
In minutes, she had you as naked as she was, and had pushed you back down onto the moss on your back. As she stared at your hard cock, you felt it twitch under the attention, which only made her smile more.
“You can touch,” you said, feeling stupid.
She stepped between your thighs, nudging them apart with barely a touch as they fell open for her. Your cock began to weep, pre-come glistening. The intensity of her gaze was enough that you felt like you might just come from her attention if she stayed where she was, but then she reached out and closed her cool, strong fingers around your cock and you groaned with pleasure, head tilting back and mouth opening slightly as she slid her thumb in a slow, luxuriant circle around the very tip.
After stroking your cock a few more times to a full and aching hardness, she eased off, drawing an involuntary whine from you. No sooner had the sound faded than she had leaned down, hair falling to splay across your hips and onto the moss beside you, and took you in her mouth in a single motion.
The delicious heat and wetness of her mouth around your cock made you screw your eyes shut and fight the urge to buck up into her, seeking more. With one hand closed around what she could not fit comfortably in her mouth, she started up a rhythm that was torturously slow. She licked the underside of your cock and made you bite back a whine again, and as she lapped at the slit, you realised she was deliberately tasting your pre-come. A second later, she had sunk even further down your cock, and your tip hit the soft, silky back of her throat.
“Oh fuck…” you hissed.
Your legs began to shake as she took up her rhythm again, head bobbing, lips forming a tight circle around your hard cock. She moaned as you leaked into her mouth, swallowing the taste of you down when she paused with your cock fully in her mouth. The sensation of her throat working around your cock made you see stars and you gasped, fingers clutching at the soft moss beneath you. You shuddered as you forced yourself not to fuck into her mouth.
With one hand braced on your quivering thigh, the other around the base of your cock, she brought you closer and closer to release. The way her eyes were now watering a little, tears sparkling around the lashes as she looked up at you, nearly undid you completely. You felt your balls tighten, and as your breath hitched again, words dying in your throat, she shifted the hand on your leg to play with your balls instead. She cupped them and caressed them, and then with one finger, she traced the seam just behind them. At that, you came without warning into her mouth.
Your abs clenched and you curled upwards as your vision blanked out and pleasure ripped through you in waves. She drank you down, but some must have escaped because when you managed to open your eyes, there was a line of come dripping down her chin. Her cheeks were flushed and you watched as she swallowed you.
“Jonna…” you panted, breathless and dizzy, heartbeat thudding in your ears.
“Shh,” she smiled, lying down beside you and tucking her body against yours in a way that made something primal and protective surge in you. You closed your arm around her shoulders and pulled her flush against you. As you did, she hooked one leg over yours and you felt the heat and wetness of her against your skin.
With trembling, slightly weak fingers, you laid your hand on her hip and moaned as she rocked against you, grinding herself against your thigh.
“Jonna… Let me -”
“Shh…” she said again and rolled her hips. “There’s no rush. And I’m enjoying you like this…” She playfully pressed her lips to your hard nipple and kissed you, making you jolt beneath her. Her hair fell down around you like a curtain before she laid her head back down on your shoulder.
You smiled and moved your fingers between her legs and felt her shudder. She rolled slightly away from you, giving you better access, and as you slid just one fingertip between her lips, you groaned again. “You’re so wet,” you breathed. Silky and slick, her heat invited you in, and you dipped a finger inside her, feeling her body clench around you. With two of your fingers inside her, she bucked up against you in a sinuous wave, mouth falling open, hands grabbing at you as if to stop her drifting away.
You kissed her as she came alive again under your touch. Shifting your thumb against her swollen, slick clit, you watched in wonder as she gasped and clutched at you, raking her nails across your skin as she began to rock in time with the movements of your fingers inside her.
“Jonna…” you murmured. “You’re getting close, aren’t you?”
“Mmm… Please…”
“I wanted to taste you before you came,” you said, trying not to sound petulant.
“You still can,” she said. “But don’t stop! That’s - oh!” and she gave a sharp gasp and rocked against you again. “There! That’s… I’m…” She started to tremble and whimper, eyes closed, mouth open, writhing so that it was almost tricky to keep doing what had set her off in the first place. As she rolled half onto her back, exposing her pale breasts, you leaned down and took her nipple between your teeth, closing your lips around it and sucking hard. She was so beautiful you still couldn’t believe it.
With a broken yell, she tightened around you and came. Her spine arched like a bow at full draw, her chest heaving, and while you pressed your fingers tightly against her pulsing walls, thumb just below her throbbing clit, she shuddered and shook against you.
It took her a long time to come down, and all the while you stayed there, holding her in your arms as she twitched and gasped.
Eventually she went slack and you slid your fingers out of her. She moaned at the loss, and rolled onto her side again while you still lay on your back, tasting her. She curled a little inwards, as if seeking protection against your side while she lay there, spent for the moment and breathing heavily.
The sounds she’d made for you, and the way she’d come had stirred your cock again and it lay half-hard and more than interested.
It didn’t take long for her to recover, and as she opened her eyes to gaze up at you again, you saw deep and genuine joy in them. She kissed your mouth and down over your jaw, and then straddled your hips, settling her slick heat down over your stiffening cock in one motion and making you grunt with pleasure as she caught the sensitive head. Then she made her way down your neck, kissing and occasionally sucking marks against you, while her thumbs brushed over your nipples.
With one slow, deliberate roll of her hips, she told you that she wanted you inside her.
She leaned down, breasts pressing against your chest and kissed you. “I want you too,” you managed to whisper before she removed one hand from your cheek, reached down between her legs, and slid your hard, slick, wanting cock inside her in one smooth motion.
All that left your lips after that were noises and nonsense.
