Hey can someone help me, When I call for code 2 backup. they show up but they dont get our the car, they just sit in car, then after a few minutes they drive off. I'm sure I have a setting set wrong somewhere..

Doesn't sound like it is Ultimate Backup showing up, or perhaps there might be something wrong with your Config file for Ultimate Backup. If it happens near Vespucci or near Mission Row, might be just a bug that happens.

You will have audio on occasion for a Traffic Stop and other occasions it may say you are on scene, if you are okay with that, then yes you can mix them up.

I am using Callout Launcher to test and trigger calls. The Callout Interface is nice, but I am also trying to lower the amount of plugins to help save FPS. Taking out Callout Interface, I was able to increase the FPS by about 3-4.

It adds a lot of radio traffic. Sometimes the audio might play on top of each other at the very beginning for the first 5-10 seconds. After that, you can expect more info from responding units and dispatch to give out locations and mph

PTT is "Right ALT" - however, I guess you can set it to Left ALT key if you want. The PTT sounds should be in your Grammar Police Audio folder in your plugins > LSPDFR > Grammar Police - If you don't see PTT sounds there, reinstall Grammar Police. The PTT sounds are covered in the video

I am struggling to find a “master set” of the plugins to use on your website for the same reason- leveraging fps, with immersion and entertainment is difficult- i’m certainly open to hearing what “blend” of plugins and scripts hit your sweet spot. Much love❤️

Great question Snap. If you go to my website bluelinevibes.com/mods and if you look up Plugins, those are all of the plugins that I have installed into my game currently. Callouts on my website, I alternate, so I decided to leave all of the ones that I use on and off, on the website for easier access for everyone. Sirens are the same way as my callouts. Same with car packs, I use those on and off. I will typically use a siren for about a month and then rotate to a different one. Essentials on the website, are just that, essential. If your are asking what is the best plugins for immersion, that might be a harder one to answer as everyone's play style is different. For example Stop the Ped is not very immersive, yet It is the number one plugin that I need to even play LSPDFR. Same for Ultimate Backup. If your looking for those mods that I have found to be top quality that really adds to the gameplay, then I would take a look at Holster Sounds plugin, and Fast Draw. Fast Draw script is covered on a video over here on Patreon. Holster Sounds, I have not done a video on, but it's a simple drag and drop install. I use Fast Draw for the immersion as one button press brings out the gun/tazer/flashlight and I do not have to hear or see the weapon wheel for example. Another good one that most seem to overlook is Licensed Plate Randomizer. Gets rid of the 46EEK572 license plate that most of these popular content creators seem to not really care about, or their viewers. But I am different, I like things that are "Random", thus the plates will never be 46EEK572. Custom Pullover plugin, is another overlooked plugin. You can have the vehicle pull over better. Most everything I mentioned in this comment, you can find either on this Patreon or on my website under tutorials btw. Hope some of that helps.

I found that when saying "shots fired" it plays the tone but no backup shows up and doesnt change status to emergency

I am having trouble with my voice being picked up in game for the radio to actually respond to me. My mic is connected and everything on my computer says it is connected but when I say my callsign or dispatch I get no response?

Sorry it took 2 days to respond to this, was having PC hardware issues. To answer your question directly - You would need to have Stop The Ped installed to hear more speech like "Clear, Expired or Warrant, Suspended" You would also need to make sure that you have Plate Check set to "NO" It is discussed on this video directly at the time 29:11 ====================== If you have watched the above part of the video and if you ask for a twenty eight for example, and you are not getting any audio, then you would need to look at your platecheck.xml file. You might not have it set up correctly. If you download mine which is the link in the description, you can see how I have mine set up. I have mine set up as a "Twenty Eight" you would have to be careful saying "Requesting a Ten Twenty Eight" Easier to just have the phrase "Twenty Eight". But go off mine if you like and see how the phrases are set up and just make sure that you are saying "Dispatch - requesting a twenty eight" as an example. If you just say "Requesting twenty eight" it should work, but better to have the preface as Dispatch first in most occasions.

I have a personalized Callsign so it is read slightly faster and with better cadence. How do you have your Callsign written in your custom.ini? EDIT: It also might help if you actually bought the dispatch mod. Patreon is not showing that you even purchased it. So not sure how I can help you with your question going further. Perhaps you downloaded it from an unauthorized site?

I did purchase it. wth. Not sure why you think I didn't. And I had been sick but just sat down to review things and see if I could get it working following your guidance. I'm doing that as we speak. I still thank you for the help and I'm trying to fix things now.

Also, all the other audio is working correctly. It seems to just be things associated with plate checks that are silent. Again, working on it right now.

That is very odd, especially since you are the very first person to report that issue. You are not getting any audio from callouts, backup units, pursuits, nothing? If the scanner folder is installed in the exact location, it might be on your end. Meaning something with your PC sound settings as I have never had a single viewer report this.

Hi Benzo, thanks for the tips it has helped made my LSPDFR game very smooth. I do have one question. My grammar police is running amazing no issue. However, when I try doing push to talk and when dispatch response, there is a one second frame drop. Is there a way to fix that? Otherwise if I have push to talk off there is zero frame drops. I have heard of this happening before. I have read through Opus49's Discord (maker of Grammar Police) to see if I could find a good answer for this. Opus49 replied back to those that had issues like this and there was not an easy fix as he suggested it is more than likely the Speech Engine itself, and he even suggested to one user to perhaps reinstall Windows. To me that is a pretty drastic approach, but if I find anything else out, I will let you know.

Veery handy video. Some little things I did not know ^^. When you are calling f.e. code 3, it appears extended pop-up windows with "ETA". Do you remember the mod for it?

anyone know why when i say to dispatch 23- traffic it doesnt put me on a trafic stop. I edited traffic into the notpad++ but does not seem to work.

Dispatch is probably confused. Is your Callsign "23"? If so, did you put that in your preface.xml ?

Hey, so I am curious, I saw that someone also had the issue were dispatch reads a callsign as SAM Forty Four. You mentioned it being a personalized callsign. Is there anyway I can do that or if you can help me that would be great. Also, I love the videos.

Hey Spuds, currently on the personalized Callsigns, it is set up on the slightly higher tier. It is at $10 on Patreon. Let me know if you are interested. If you do the slightly higher tier, be sure to DM me the callsign you want. Remember it can be anything actually. You are not binded to the norm. For example I have had a GHOST-35, an OWL-8 (ummm yep) and a PHANTOM type callsign. Those are just a few. I can get creative or you can be generic like myself to keep things easy and smooth.

Can't keep both, but you can mix the audio and only replace 10 files for example. if you want dispatch to say "On Scene Reference CAD .... " she will do that on your traffic stop and you can mix the two audio files. Unfortunately there is no way to keep the audio specific to both On Scene and Traffic Stop. Basically the audio replacement replaces that old dispatcher when she says "Approach with Caution" if you remember she did this on Traffic Stops and also when you told dispatch that you were on Scene. She never responded with that when investigation. I was just trying to make things more immersive. Feel free to leave the other audio in and keep the files the same if you like.

I've been hesitant to try LSPDFR because of how involved it can be, but you have made the whole process super painless. Go to your grammar folder that is inside your Grammar Police. For example I use the en-Generic. Go to Commands folder. Look for priority_tone.XML file. Put in other phrases if you like. To learn how to put phrases in, please watch my Grammar Police Part 2 tutorial linked above in this video.

You have installed it incorrectly. All files go into the main game directory. However, you may have an outdated file that you are installing. Hi there! I just wanted to provide an update. I found out that if I push the button to talk, then wait about three seconds after, it won’t have that little sharp frame drop. For example, if I say something like “show me on a traffic stop west bound *street name* *postal code*” and release the button, it would not have the sharp lag. This is because I held the button for longer than three seconds. However, if I do say “*call sign* 10-8” then it still has the little frame drop because I held the button for less than three seconds.

Hey, Im not sure if im the only one thats experiencing this, not even sure if its something i did on my end or not. anytime i try to open up a grammar police audio file, i dont get any playback whatsoever. originally i found that 686 callouts were not playing any audio in game, so I unloaded that, and in game so far i dont hear anything missing from dispatch. BUT when i try to open one of those audio files separately to see how it sounds, i dont get any playback. Ill admit i still have to watch the full video which im going to do right now, but that just seems very odd to me. plus i plan on installing blue line dispatch, and i worry that this "issue" could effect those files. (P.S. I made sure that it wasnt something with the media player or my audio) havent found anything online to help with this so far so hoping you can shed some light.

and also im not sure if this is normal either but most of my Grammar police audio folders (before installing the traffic stop audio folder) only have less than a handful of audios

Your problem is extremely rare, which means that it is on your end. Meaning it is your PC that is not playing the audio files correctly. I can assure you that all of the BlueLine Dispatch audio works 100%. Troubleshooting: I would use a different Media player. Could be an audio codec issue. Right Click on a preferred audio and pick a different player. I think Windows has at least 2 options. You can also look at a program called VLC media player which plays everything and is light weight causing no PC issues. I doubt it is your PC output settings, as you would find that out pretty fast since you wouldn't have any game sound. Try the media info and see how it goes.

the thing is i have both of those media players already and i tried both of them. interestingly enough, the radio button soundpack play back just fine.

Not sure how to answer that. You haven't purchased the mod yet, so how am I suppose to know if my files will play on your system? I figured you already bought the mod and was having difficulty hearing the audio, that is why I was providing support. I would advise to head to Opus49's discord and ask why you are not hearing the Grammar Police audio files.

There could be a number of different things that could cause that. My advice is to post in Opus49's discord. He has his discord linked on the main page of Grammar Police. It will take you to the Immersive Plugins Team. There you will find like minded people troubleshooting grammar police. Easier to see your files on discord.

Which new audio are you referring to? Are you referring to a custom Callsign? If so, please DM me your Callsign info. You also get another 30 extra custom audio files. Just something new I am doing this year for that tier level.

That is a custom callsign. Not much you can really do with dispatch mods like that as the cadence will always sound a bit off. If you are ever interested in a custom callsign, it now has 30 extra custom audio files. Takes about 1-2 hours on my end to produce that. But it is offered at the $10 tier level. Not trying to sell it, but just thought I would inform you of that option.

Not with my mod. Old dispatch is 100% removed. You either have Xscanner installed or the dispatch mod installed incorrectly, or another mod conflict. Only way that will happen.

That is your Grammar Police Default menu. Are you on duty? Did you change these settings in your config by chance? You need to be on duty and have Grammar Police loaded in.

Maybe some new callout packs etc. If purchased off the shop all updates are free. If you are on Patron and your patron is current and active, you will have access to all updates as well + other mods on the Patron.

I meant like, the audio files you showcase regarding traffic stops, are those included in 4.1, or is this an additional add on audio pack we could add to blue line if we wanted to? Just didn't know if it was already included in the later updates, sorry for not explaining myself properly earlier, I followed this guide btw and it helped me get creative with my grammar xmls

The way I handle updates is that they are already included into v4.1 - I did include a separate smaller zip file that stayed on Patron for 2 weeks to help those that just wanted to install only the files that were updated. After 2 weeks I remove that separate small update and remove the imbedded video that I include explaining the update as well. I do this so that it doesn't lead to confusion for new people looking to download the dispatch mod. Already had several people just download the separate zip file and wonder why their dispatch is not working ;)
