Thank you blue line I’ll going to give another try on radio realism I know I never could get it to work even with the granny dispatcher and I’ve tried different ways in the ini file to make it work and it always dumb crazy stuff. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I was one of those people who couldn't figure the xscanner issue out until I decided to look harder and discover that pathway 😅

Hi! So far, I am absolutely LOVING this mod. The audio sounds really great. I’m noticing that I am still hearing bits and pieces of the default dispatcher during XScanner pursuit updates even after adjusting the file path in the XScanner in-game menu; mostly suspect vehicle speeds and directions. I followed the mod’s installation tutorial to the letter, and everything else seems to be working okay… maybe XScanner isn’t fully compatible? I can try using Radio Realism’s pursuit updates if this is the case. Also, I had some feedback regarding some audio files at other times, like for Ultimate Backup (one example: when calling an UB helicopter during a pursuit, the dispatcher states “last seen in a helicopter” instead of something like “air support is requested for a pursuit”). I noticed that some other lines like when calling for UB prisoner transport are also incomplete sentences (example: dispatcher just says “on street name, in region”. Thanks for your hard work, Mike! If anyone could help or comment on the first issue, that would be great. I noticed that the Blueline Vibes Discord doesn’t provide LSPDFR support so I decided to comment here. I hope you have a great holiday season!

Thanks for the comment Matt. Unfortunately I have not experimented with the Xscanner Pursuit updates. So I am not 100% sure how he has his audio pathways set up. He has over 3200 audio files in the Pursuit updates alone, so there are bound to be files in there that he created that I simply do not have. I also have NO intention in adding a plugin that has hard coded audio files with the sole purpose to prevent other people like myself from recreating the dispatch with a more realistic one, instead of the robotic GTA 5 dispatcher. Sorry, can't do that. I do know that the Radio Realism should be working accurately as I have tested this extensively for well over 200+ hours. As far as the Dispatcher giving incomplete sentences when calling for Prisoner Transport: The old Dispatcher would say "Assistance Required ..... in ... Uhhhhh.... Rancho" To me, that is also an incomplete sentence, yet we were use to that for the past 9 years. Unfortunately there is no great way around that. I can't modify the audio file "Assistance Required" to say Transport needed, or even copy, Prisoner Transport on the way. If I did that, you would hear hundreds of calls say "Copy, Prisoner Transport Needed" Then followed with a callout like Shots fired. It would sound like this below: "Copy, Transport on the way, All Units, All Units we have Shots fired in the area" That would be sort of like that with almost every callout. See the issue? Instead I opted to mute the "Assistance required" since most of the people playing LSPDFR will not need to hear that every callout and I can make the dispatch flow better with cadence.

i changed the audio for the Xscanner plugin to "scanner" and I can still hear the old dispatcher. Root i used was LSPDFR/audio/scanner

Please reach out to Khorio the maker of Xscanner. I can't troubleshoot another person's mod like that. OR watch the alternative video linked above by Pherem.
