Ya, nothing special really. It's just Rockstar's files given back to you. You can basically pull the files from your update folder outside the mods folder, same thing but it makes it an easier process.

Takes time. Best to go slow and do one thing at a time. If something messes up you can narrow it down at least.

Any thoughts on the drama with Pherem and Rich? I am struggling to decide who to support and what facts are real :/ I just know you had recommended mods by pherem and they were wonderful! I have a question, after i do the mgreloadsettings. I close the game, replace with your settings and then my game crashes on the next startup. But game works perfectly fine after i delete the more gore settings and relaunch. I redo the cheat command and get the pop up like i should.

I figured it out im not sure why but when I used 3.7.0 nightly.1 it worked but not with newest version

Gotcha, glad you got it working. Sometimes I have to do the same thing and downgrade. Once things seem to work, I usually stick with that version for several months.

very confused, even after loading into the game i dont have a xml settings file for more gore to replace? and there is nowhere near as much blood as the video showed when you said the settings sucked.

That means that More Gore is not being loaded in. Reinstall ScriptHookVDotnet - Nightly version and try again. If you go to your ScriptHookVDotNet.log file it should tell you all of the recent scripts that have been loaded in. If More Gore is not listed on there, I would reinstall MoreGore script again into the scripts folder.

the MoreGore settings are a thousand times better than the vanilla ones, the vanilla ones are just them flopping around and they look like they have no bones, this one is much more improved

Anyone know how to get AI backup to stop shooting a downed ped? Every time I drop someone, my backup shoots them while they're on the ground until they're dead.

That is the unfortunate side effect with this script. I tried many ways to keep this from happening. There is a plugin called Hold your fire on the lspdfr.com site. I think the mod author is still working on it and claims that it works well to keep your AI from shooting at suspects on the ground. I tried it once, but crashed my game, he has updated it. I have not tried the recent update.

Does not have an uninstaller from the author. I did provide original files with a readme if you want to install the original files though. Or you can install a different blood mod if you like as it will overwrite the Blood FX

@Camren - If you bought this post, then you are paying for 60 hours of my time dedicated and experimenting with what mods work and don't work with more gore and the time it takes for testing each setting with each weapon. Thanks for taking the time to watch.

With the MoreGore mod, the website says it's a dangerous site and I am not getting a INI file when I download it anyway, is there another place to get it from?

That is a false flag on websites such as that. Website is completely safe, some even get that same type of flag on the lspdfr.com site as well. You will not have an XML file until you launch the game as mentioned in the video. Did you skip that part?

@Blueline Vibes do you still use this setup in your game? Installed it all yesterday and it screwed up the way my lights looked on the police cars and my reshade menu stopped working. Idk if its a conflict with Quantv or what so that why I'm asking.

You are commenting on a More Gore Script. This would not interfere with your reshade to my knowledge. Unfortunately I had to pull More Gore Script from my game for now anyways. ScriptHookVDotNet has been causing my game to crash after 20-30 minutes of gameplay. But as far as interfering with reshade, nah I can't see this particular script doing that. The only thing that you can try is to take ScriptHookVDotNet out of your game and see how things go. Reshade should be working, but it's hard to pinpoint down the conflict.

I got lucky and found it. I had added the reshade.ini and quantity summer preset you posted either on patreon or from the livestream and anyway the keyring for the reshape menu was different than mine so once I figured that out and got it open it was actually the six lense in reshape that was making it look funny. I turned that off and now my game looks awesome. I play at 1440p so it's not 4k but still 100 times better than default gta.

Btw there is a scripthookdotnet update that came out a couple days ago and I installed that. So far no crashes caused by that atleast. Idk if it would help you out or not but thought I'd like incase you hadn't seen it.

That would be correct and yes it does indeed suck. Sorry about that. I could not use it when using PR due to that damage tracking framework.

the blood trail for me seems to just be small drops of bloop randomly not like in the video/// now fixed that issues everything is fine only this is now when i shoot someone one time they all seem to drop to the ground and not move and the rare ai will get shot twice get up but walk around for a long time without falling

All of this has to do with how close you are to the subject, and location of the bullet impact. Also what type of gun is used. Some guns will hit harder than other guns etc. My advise is to play around a bit, feel free to increase the blood rate if needed and you will find that perfect balance that you want.

i was using a combat pistol on your settings, close or far ankle or heart will almost always drop them and keep them on the ground and rarely they will walk after two shots same pistol but walk for very long

Kind of hard to troubleshoot something like this. A lot of damage can be caused by other mods. Do you have any other mods installed like RDE, other weapon metas perhaps? I guess if my suggestion of lowering the bleed rate did not help, I would just visit our discord.

Sucks you cant use these with PR. Given its considered the new standard in LSPDFR it sucks to not be able to use these cool mods with it :(

I agree, wish there was a way around that. I know they are redoing PR from the ground up, so not sure if Damage Tracking will be required or not, no guarantee though.

Are you currently using the Improvements in Gore Mod fix? or is it still causing issues in your game?

Not currently using it. It does fix the decals of bullet wounds to the head for example, but I just stick to BloodFX 1.8 as I feel like the blood soaking looks more legit. BloodFX 1.8 has broken decals on the head, but it's all good, I don't need it.

The ini is created once you load into the game. You will replace the original default one that is created with my custom settings and overwrite it.

That is correct. Unfortunately Damage Tracker Framework removes all elements of More Gore thus making the script unusuable.
