Greetings, citizens, sidekicks, and anyone else who is reading this year end letter! Merry late Christmas, Happy New Year, and May your respective holiday be celebrated well this month!

Usually I have these State addresses written well ahead of time to let all of my thoughts out on the rest of the year, but as you can see it's a little late this time of year simply because I considered doing it as a video rather than the usual letter now that I have the assets to do so. But then I lost track of time and realized I wouldn't be able to get to it.

So yeah, how to look back at 2025? Not a great year, but also not as terrible as I anticipated it to be.

There are certainly things in the larger scope of the world to be fearful of, but on a smaller scale there's still good reason to be worried, especially if you support content creators like myself who like to get incredibly spicy with the materials. Payment processors like Visa, Mastercard, and even PayPal have been changing their terms of service and blocking sites like Steam and Itch.io from selling certain games of a sexual degree. Even if you're not a fan of a certain fetish, it’s still worrisome that at some point they could come after you for the thing you might enjoy.

The adult creative community feels less and less open as a result of these changes, and it does feel like the walls are coming in on us as a result of the pay pros and those in charge of certain Projects. We’re all still fighting to some degree to assure spaces for us after a bunch of Aussies went and ruined our fun, but I won't lie that there's days where I worry that once these places are taken away from us, that's going to be it for my efforts as a writer.

Could I jump elsewhere in writing away from adult materials? Sure! But it's not as fun when these same processors frown on LGBT materials, and quite frankly I'm not interested in writing an original story where everyone has to be hetero just to appease the Masters of your credit Card!

We’re still fine, for now. I say try to keep a positive attitude and not let this worry you, because I'm doing the same to just relax and avoid any panic until it's an absolute apocalypse.

That said, so long as I can still take a payment, I'll still be writing. Which brings me to the first subject of this wrap-up.

Commissions

This year was the first time I used VGen to process my payments, and so far things have been going rather well. There was an odd instance where someone sent a request through the “No, Nut!” November form when that was unpublished, but nothing major.

Speaking of, NNN was another huge success, and I thank everyone who participated for your suggestions and prompts to keep me driven through October and November. Gotta say though, I was feeling worn down on posting daily by the end of things, but I definitely felt that same thing as last year. It does feel like posting early in the day somehow feels more accomplishing than posting at night, if the kudos emails I get daily are anything to go by. Something I'll have to keep note of when we go into the new years.

Comms will resume in January, and we’ll stick to the same pricing as the last two years: $30 for non-sale items, and $22-25 for all sales items. I can't say that this will be the pricing for 2027, of course, but you know where to find me if the changes do happen. Also, as a test of things, I’ll be waiving the exta $3 for words after 8k, just to see how that fares for others that wouldn’t normally afford it.

I've been trying to get into new things or things I really missed out on in an effort to expand my sales, but it's not going to plan. Yes, I've played Dispatch and I really dig the characters. No, I haven't really touched Chainsaw man even as I promised to do it, I'm three episodes in, however. Even on the writing side of things, it's hard to get into new content when you yourself are making the content.

I will say this: I may end up putting a cap on how many stories a person can have open at a time, if only because due to the nature of my availability I can only do so much at once, and some of these stories never come to completion or take a long time to do so. In a way, I want to incentivize completing a story rather than starting and stopping. I’d have to spread out my commission options as far as I can, but even right now trying to keep it at three different monthly sales feels especially rough.

Patreon

Nothing new is coming for 2026 on this site, but I'll post the end of Deal With A Devil soon. It's always in the back of my mind, the pages are all done, it's just remembering it needs to be done. It was a fun series to finally have an artist bring to life, and I hope once the final pages come out, all of you will be able to enjoy it.

I'm debating revisiting an old concept for Patreon exclusively, a CYOA sort of story in light of Dispatch and its popularity. I just need to work out the kinks before going gung-ho into it.

Twitch

So yeah, this was a biggish year on this front: streaming! I feel like I should have bitten this bug earlier, but for a variety of reasons never did. And I feel like I need to stress this, no, this not meant to replace my time as a writer. I’d like to keep to that, hopefully for a long time unless the stuff I suggested above happens.

Has it paid off? Slowly. My Twitch channel has at least made affiliate status, so there's that. To be honest, I had no idea how many others seem to go through the struggle of finding an audience. I can't tell you how many other people I saw having thousands of followers and only like, five or six people watching them. Baffling, incredibly baffling.

Twitch has problems, but I'm not giving up on it yet, especially since it's likely going to remain a backup if all the stuff above ever starts stomping down on me. Don't be surprised if I try YouTube as a platform, though. And apparently even TikTok does game streaming? What?

But hey, I still had fun revisiting Mass Effect, Ducktales Remastered, and experiencing Sonicomi for the first time in full! And getting reinvested in Persona 5 Royal after trying Phantom X was worth it! Even if I regret the Discord polls letting you guys pick if I should solo romance or go full harem…

Devil May Cry 1 and 2 were infuriating…for a lot of different reasons…but I gotta start applying all of my lessons from the first game to how I stream in the future.

I can at least say that doing this led to me playing games that were on the backburner for so long or completing something I started ages ago. Akiba’s Trip finally saw some sunlight, ironically. I finally beat Resident Evil 4, even if it was the Remake and not the Wii Edition I played all those years back. Merry Bunny Garden, gave FF14 a shot and gave birth to Kat Gravit’ee, figured out how to beat The Bouncer, and made an effort to introduce the world further to Senran Kagura!

Looking forward to seeing what 2026 brings us!

Socials

As a reminder, I'm no longer using Twitter. I still have my old account active over there, but for the sake of making sure someone else doesn't try to pretend to be me on the platform. Even if it's somehow still the best way to promote Twitch streams or short form videos, I refuse to come back permanently. With everything being trained for Grok usage, nothing is safe.

Bluesky is still my best form of social media, even if I'm not as active on there as I'd like to be. If it's not on Discord, you'll see the story announcements on there.

I've also started uploading Twitch VODs to my YouTube channel, which I was originally going to use as a way of posting videos with my own thoughts and opinions on things, including research I did on the company behind Sailor and the 7 Ballz. I've also been posting streaming moments on YouTube and…yes…even TikTok.

It feels like more people are watching those videos and yet not many are going over to see the streams. But hey, when it works it works. Which is to say while most of those videos get over 1k views, YouTube doesn't seem to push most of them, like the last Stellar Blade one I put up.

Yes, Stellar Blade was yet another game I played on stream, but it's not a big focus because for as gorgeous as the game is, it's so bloated in VRAM that it crashes my OBS more times than not. I've made a game out of it: “if OBS crashes the stream ends”.

I guess the point is I wish I saw this same level of success on Twitch as I'm seeing on these other outlets. It's enough to make me want to test out the other stuff since YouTube has more algorithm into finding an exact thing, and TikTok…which I'm still shocked allows streaming, apparently.

I think that's everything for this year!

Hopefully I'll still be able to do all of this by the time 2026 comes to an end! May it be better than this year for all of us! See you in a few days, gang!
