our previous gamejam projects (Patreon)

We've been playing with the idea of making games together for quite a while. And we made a couple gamejam games that are available on itch. Here they are :

The first one was Finger Drum Hero, a little rhythm game were you can learn to finger drum.

The game was made on a weekend in september 2017.

It is compatible with most midi devices and keyboard/controller as well. In this one our friend Flore did all the code, Myu did game and graphic design and Seb made the music & sound effects (and provided the face seen in the background). We had a ton of fun coming up with the song and lyrics, trying to create an interesting drum pattern to play that was both challenging and do-able... With fun fingerdrum-themed lyrics!

Our second game, made a little while later, was made during a movie themed game jam, so we made a dressup game inspired by Edna Mode from the Incredibles.

The game was made over a weekend in february of 2018.

This time Myu did all the code on construct 2 and Seb did the visuals, music & sound effects with help from our friend Ali. There are several super heroes that need costumes, and there's a neat easter egg we put in there for fans of the movie as well.

These games aren't the biggest or the most interesting games ever, as they're jam games and made in a very short time, but they are the start of our journey. These were the first times we made stuff together. After that second game we started a list of ideas for future games... A list that went dormant for a while, but a list that found its second life once we started talking about smol dreamers for real.
