Interesting, I use Corel Draw for assembling the parts but Corel Photo-Paint for color.

Well all do. Though I sometimes spend hours looking at and shading those areas. Just saying.

That's the smart way. Digital painting is way more versatile. Coloring in Draw is ... sometimes hard. I've gotten used to it, but my history with it started way back when I had a garbage computer and my machine couldn't handle making files at the resolution I wanted. So Draw was my best option.
