Just a head's up - you are not getting close to the end of this show. You are getting close to the end of season 3. Apple announced back in March that there will be a fourth season, and I won't say what the focus will be because it would spoil the S3 finale, but it's gonna be really cool. No timeline on production or release yet, but I'm guessing we'll get it sometime in 2026.

I meant to say this last time, but I felt really seen in the "we dont NOT care" speech because of a memory with my oldest child. When he was 2ish, he asked if he could put on a DVD in the living room where I was on my computer playing online games (with his dad - step dad, who raised him with me). He started demurring and acting shy and I thought...it's not that idc...it's that "I don't mind." I pulled him in and said that I would like it if he stayed with me and watched a movie, it wouldn't disturb me. It's not that "I don't care." It's "I don't mind." :)

In the immortal words of Rebecca's GodDaughter/Sassy's Daughter Nora, Rebecca is a "Boss Bitch"!!!! I want to give my total admiration, respect, and joy to Sam Richardson who plays Edwin Akufo! He is an extremely talented actor and comedian that made us laugh and dislike him so much at the same time!! Saving the best for last for this episode, the performance by Nick Mohammed as Nate and Kieran O'Brien as Lloyd Shelly/Nate's Father was so heartfelt, real, and inspiring. This episode really hits home for me because my Dad and I had a very similar relationship. My Dad basically told me the same things when I graduated that Nate's Dad told Nate in that amazing scene. Things got much better as I got older. My Dad died in 2005 and I miss him so much. The whole series of "Ted Lasso" for me has truly been a Godsend, when I would get to feeling low I always listen to music to get back where I need to be. Now I use Ted Lasso to be my Dad's voice to truly reassure me everything will be alright.

Willy Wonka is a horror movie to Higgins. It's interesting I've seen a lot of reactions call it the Peaky Blinders song, but to me it's the Scream song. There were a lot of great scenes and speech's in this episode. I loved Nate's scene with his dad that was great, as well as the speech from Rebecca. I also loved that, it was actually the actor Nick Mohammed playing the Violin and the instrument in the scene is actually his from childhood. Also, the piano accompaniment was played by his wife of 14 years Becka.

I’d love to see you react to Buffy the Vampire Slayer after this. Having grown up watching Buffy, it’s amazing to see how radically different Rupert Mannion is to Rupert Giles. But Anthony Head is a great actor either way.
