We purchased Superman on Amazon.

This is a watch along so you do need to bring your own copy of the episode to see it, there is no PIP or show audio. There is a visual cues off the top and a timer to help you sync up.

Hell yeah, super quick turnaround for posting full watch-a-long. I was able to watch the pre-show last night, but couldn't watch the movie as i had to be up for work at 8am and couldn't stay up till like 3am EST. Looking forward to seeing how you liked the movie 🙂

Hard to keep my eyes off Kat Grant's bouncing cleavage. Hawkgirl was hot as well. Jimmy's sex appeal was somewhat unbelievable though lol. I think Supes was nerfed against the curvy butt Engineer who should have no way near his strength yet managed to knock him off his feet and wrestle with him. she's not Kryptonian.

What I love so much about this film (with bonus points for every scene with the Kents making me tear up and miss my mom, RIP) 1) How pure Lex's hate for Superman it is drives him to the verge of tears. Greatest Hater of All Time Awarded to Lex. 2) That Superman was freaking out about Krypto missing because of his cousin and how rowdy she is (Highly recommend reading Woman of Tomorrow for a teaser about this version of Supergirl). She literally would level Metropolis for Krypto and Superman, when he confronted Lex about the dog the first time, was seriously terrified over what Kara might do if she found out. Bloody brilliant. 3) This Bronx kid never thought 30 years ago as a teen, that I would get to see Mister Terrific on the big screen as wonderfully presented as in this film. Mister Terrific being pitch perfect and not a caricature, the Kents, and Kal finally watching videos of his parents he didn't know "Gary" had recorded at the end (along with Superman finally calling 4 Gary) brought me to f'ing tears in the theater. Not ashamed to admit it, grown ass man "Niagara Falls Frankie Angel" tears (from Scrooged). James Gunn knows how to bring the feels and trigger tears. I can not wait for Supergirl and the Superman sequel now. Let Gunn cook!

Fun fact: The Bots were played by Guardians veterans in addition to the amazing Alan Tudyk, Yandu (Rooker) lends his voice and Mantis (Pom) is #12. James Gunn is about giving his friends work, even if it is a small role. James Gunn is a real one.

I really hope that James Gunn doesn't recast Batman, I wish they can merge both movies and keep Pattinson as Batman

So follow a few people that react on here and you guys are the one that I have to pay to see your reaction to these movies and I also have to pay to watch it on another screen when the other people I follow you can watch the movie with them bc the don’t blur it out

That’s against the law. Those other reactors are breaking copyright and fair use laws. They are taking a huge risk and we aren’t going to risk that so people can bypass the proper paths to watching and properly supporting the movie. It’s wild people still don’t understand that.

I keep going back and forth on that. Pattinson’s Batman is in such a different world than this Superman. Could it work without messing with the integrity of the characters?

I honestly don't know but this same question like you has me going back and forth just thinking of the possibilities like Superman has always been a beacon of hope in the comics and this movie and The Batman has always been kinda dark but bringing them together like you said it could damage the image of what possibly James Gunn has envisioned for his new DCU

Honestly this nerfed version of superman you really can't call superman, he is supposed to be more god like with his whole core weakness being kryptonite and that being pretty much it besides enemies that are on par such as those from his own planet. put this version against the avengers and he stands no chance. This movie really makes me miss Henry cavill as superman even more. Also the sillyness reminded me too much of star lord than the seriousness of superman, even lego superman isn't this goofy and lego characters are super goofy. Apparently james gunn wanted superman to be more humanized which is completely wrong, the whole point is that superman isn't human hence why he is more serious and kicks @ss, i so hope Gunn isn't going to ruin Batman, lego batman is goofy but we expect that from lego and it works, not so much in the real life universe.
