There is something indescribable that brings me so much joy whenever Spore is mentioned 😂

Justin with the matter eater lad reference in 2025 truly made me so happy

I hope you know that when Ja’am was mentioned while I listening and driving in my car, I involuntarily started scream singing BACKPACK FOR HIS APPLESAUCE. the monster factory series is an ongoing source of comfort rewatches for me and this is such a fun crossover.

I have very real aphantasia, like there is no apple, not even a little. Sometimes I get involuntary flashes of images in my head, yet somehow when Jahm was said I could see him more clearly than any image I've ever had before in my head. Thank you Jahm.

This was like a trip down ole Teenweed Lane. Cool seeing The Brothers McElroy reflect on their past content and make legitimate judgement based on how making those abominations against God affected the experience.

I love you guys, but this episode suffers slightly from the fact that clearly, none of you engaged very much with Crusader Kings 3. That's okay - we Paradox nerds are a rare breed. But there was the Baby King episode of Monster Factory, and I swear your rubric would have made Crusader Kings 3 **unstoppable**. (1) A robust character creator that allows horrible mutants from a medieval nuclear wasteland. (2) A character creator that allows you to make your adolescent King a murderous adulterer who is addicted to hashish, followed by playing through their entire life during which their syphillis and witchcraft becomes an important part of the gameplay. (3) The episode where the baby king dies a few weeks after they start the actual game. It's fine, I'm not mad - I just imagine what could have been, in another timeline in which you guys could stomach Crusader Kings 3.

Ja'am is literally the new dog, no one could out-icon it! and while im very pleased with the ranking for spore, i do think you didn't give it enough credit on the versatility standpoint. yes if you don't have too solid of an idea of what you wanna make it will most likely end up looking like a (penis) tube, but may i please refer you to the best tumblr blog of all time https://www.tumblr.com/making-you-in-spore
