They go all out to create "normal" for Carol. Like the writing diner scene. They had other customers in the diner talking to each other. When we know all the joined people don't talk. And they had cars driving back and forth around the diner to create traffic background. Which adds to the 'normal'. It's almost like another version of that Truman Show. Elaborate play acting to keep Carol distracted

They even adapted to Carol's personality. Making Zosia tease and flirt.

It always gives me a little chuckle when they bring up the Wycaro books.... In episode 1 she was releasing Book 4 in the Wycaro Trilogy. A trilogy is 3!!!!!! She was stuck in a Danielle Steele Nora Roberts formula book rollout.

Hi! I don't know if you get notifications for older videos, but just wanted to say, I love your reactions, and I'm so glad I found you! I also wanted to say, I personally think the hive mind is only humans, not aliens, because Zosia says they use their natural electromagnetic field to communicate. And since electromagnetic fields move at the speed of light, the communication between members of the hive would be limited to where their fields can reach, and so there'd be a 600 year delay in communication between earth and the aliens that sent the signal we picked up since it's 600 light years away. But that's just what I think, I'm excited to hopefully learn more next season!

Hey yes i do get notifications. I mean physically they are still human, when I call them aliens its because they were fundamentally changed by an alien virus. so to me they are kinds of alien even if their bodies are still humans. They think differently, act differently... Thats kind of where im coming from with that. but yes I can't wait for season 2 as well! im curious how Carol and Manusos will get along

Oh I 100% get where you're coming from too! It totally introduces some traits they didn't have already, like not killing ANYTHING, and wanting to spread the virus to the rest of the people, and I can get behind calling them aliens for that. And I can't wait to see more of Manousos and Carol either, they have a great dynamic. I'm also really curious about Manousos' backstory!
