Also the more you turn the less strong the new vamp is. At least bookwise. Meaning Louis is in theory a stronger vampire than Claudia.

Yes also in theory means all the new vamps that are being made "the great conversion", aren't going to hold a candle to the strength of vampires from before everyone just started turning people like crazy. In theory. That vamp lore hasn't been shared on the show so I don't know if they are keeping it. I hope they do, I like it.
