Haha this whole episode is was waiting for it and then I thought oh maybe nothing bad will happen and boom! And then he left!!! Hahahaha i was devastated but it all ended well.

Fabulous reaction to the finale! You definitely weren't the only person expecting disaster of some kind. So many queer stories end in heartbreak or tragedy that we're sort of conditioned to expect it. But nope - our boys just drive off into the sunset. I can not wait for S2 (in spring of 2027 - ish. 😭) In the meantime, I'll be rewatching our six episodes over and over and enjoying rewatching reactions too. ❤️ Thanks for this!

I noticed that while watching this show, I kept expecting something bad to happen but they surprised us at every turn! No one died, Scott got cheered when he came out, Rose was the sweetest person ever when Shane came out to her and we have THE COTTAGE!!!! we are being deprogrammed with every episode and i am so thankful for this show. 💓 thank you for coming on this journey with me.

Yep, pretty much everyone felt that way. I knew it was based on a romance novel, and by genre definition it had to have a happy ending. But I was still worried about it. 😏 Thank you Rachel Reid and Jacob Tierney for such gorgeous queer joy!! 👏🏻👏🏻
