Commenting as I watch but if you have time, take a look at what book one of the kid is reading at the start of the episode ;)

Hey V. Stunned you didn't clock DR Simeon/"The Great Intelligence" played by the same actor Richard E Grant in the previous episode "The Snowmen" 😱

Todd Burroughs

P.S. Look who the author is of the book shown @ 5:24! "Eleven is the best!" :)

Alex Mann

I kind of wish they had made this a return of The Wire from the first season. It would've been interesting, especially since they've used Magpie Electrical in other episodes as Easter eggs.

Stephen Foreman

I love this episode. Not an introduction to Clara but an introduction to this version/incarnation/whatever. There is a very brief (two and a half minutes) prequel to this episode which I always enjoy watching although at least one reactor completely failed to understand it! I'm posting a link in case you want to give it a viewing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IROtC6cAT4&t=1s

Reel Reaction

Ohhhhh Amelia Williams!!!!!! Aka Amelia Pond!!!

I agree - I love the companions when there is no romance, although, a little flirting or sassyness is fine 🤣 I think you might have missed a key point of who the 'entity' uploading the people was. Miss Kizmet says his name at the end and we saw him in "The Snowmen". *P.S. It took me about three watches of these episodes to realise that's who it was so I don't think they made it obvious enough.

You mentioned the writing on the tardis spinning column and compared it to the writing on the watch. Both are gallifreyan, the written language of the planet. It pops up all over the place, even on the doctors crib in 'a good man goes to war'

Skyduck

Oh the Doctor doesn't need to invite me. He'd have to chase me off of the TARDIS lmao
