Howdy!

Eyes are recovering good so far (things just look a bit blurry today) but the time has come for the poll. As I said in the last post, the next video can either be a video on Bungie's Marathon which should be out around the end of the month, or a longer video covering the entire trilogy since there's quite a bit of lore fuckery to go over. Longer version likely wouldn't be til next month since it's a 3-in-1 but I'd post a WIP version focused around the first Marathon here for you all to watch early. Just need to get it figured out before I reach a point in editing where it'll be messy if it's still not decided.

Trilogy would be really interesting and comprehensive. I understand wanting a video sooner, however, this would give us another great showcase for his lore piecing storytelling.

I'd go individual videos, I liked when you did it with dead space. I'm not as familiar with marathon are the sequels interesting enough to warrant individual videos?

This is a tough one, but I liked how you broke the original Thief trilogy into its constituent parts, especially since Thief 3 is so different from 1 and 2. Then again I could have seen you doing a joint review of Thief 1 and 2 and a separate review of Thief 3 to account for the differences. I guess it depends on how different they are from one another. As I haven't played any of them, I can't say, but if the first video is going to be 20-30 minutes and the subsequent ones would be 10 minute videos just expounding on the differences, you could combine that into just one video. I guess my vote is if you can get three 15-30 minute videos out of all three, do them separate. If you can't and it works better as one 20-30 minute video for all three, do that instead.

Trilogy sounds very interesting, and I'm fine with waiting longer for a bigger video, but I understand wanting to get something out quicker as well. Hopefully if you do go with just the first game you can do something on the sequels down the road.

I really like your long form content and hearing about game stories lore. Already waited a while I can wait longer for more content. But I would not complain about a shorter but sooner video.

Whichever is less exhausting for your chief. All I can add is that your script seems more tightly written when it's near the 20 minute mark. So if you intend to do the whole trilogy, maybe break it into three pieces?

i think making a 3-in-1 would tire you out, for editing them together like that so i'd say spreading them out would be easier on you while giving us more content for a couple of more months

Procedure itself was very fast, just a strange light show. Still putting drops in and some days I get some strange blurred vision at about 2 feet away sporadically but they say it's normal while the eyes heal. Otherwise it's been pretty great but we'll see when it's all done cooking.

Infinity is definitely a drastic turn story wise so you might be right. Looks like the numbers are leaning towards just the one video so I'll see if I can do a repeat of the Thief videos upload rate wise.
