Genesis of Ally (Patreon)

When Kelci and I first started working on Validation back in 2013 she sent over some initial sketches of Ally and asked if I liked them. I told her I not only liked them, but I LOVED THEM. She pretty much nailed her look and personality on the first take!

It's rare to experience that kind of serendipity in the artistic world. When it happens, you go with it. Here we are, five years later, in 2018. The comic has evolved over the course of that time. Kelci's art has grown to a level which, at least I believe, can stand with the great YA graphic novel cartoonists residing on bookshelves today.

We've discussed entering that YA market with a new series. You will, of course, hear about it first here. It will be the genesis of something, again. It might not reach a fortuitous true serendipity, as Kelci and I are familiar with each other now, but we do hope it will strike a chord. And those notes will back-up a purposeful harmony.

Thank you for taking the journey with us ❤️
