ROXIE #31

PANEL 1:Herringbone tapes up a promotional poster for the band on the wall. He'’s looking around to make sure convention security doesn’t notice.ROXIE (CAPTION): Alright! Lodo Con is kicking off. Time to get the word out about our band'’s first performance!PANEL 2:Alexis is passing out fliers to metal heads and punks, showing a lot of excitement for Roxie’'s band. One of the punk guys looks interested in the show. The metal heads are curious.ROXIE (CAPTION): Everybody in the band including Alexis (our secret weapon) –is passing out info about our show happening two weeks after the con.ROXIE (CAPTION): Our venue agreed to make attendance a donation, rather than charging up front. ‘Cuz peeps are paying a shit ton for the con this weekend.PANEL 3:Roxie is in casual punk gear, wearing a wrecked shirt declaring the name of her band: The Spark Plugz. She’'s hanging out by her derby team table, passing out fliers to interested tattooed people.ROXIE (CAPTION): I wasn'’t 100 percent sure if I would find punk fans here.
