I am a COMPLETE BOBBLE HEAD…. However… I just found the most painful YouTube in BOBBLEHERSTORY…. It is bob saying he will not be able to review all starts 7 cause he is on the pit stop…. Noooo…… just the same thing he criticized Monet of doing this season. …. The episode is called “S08EKeeping it 100” this is a shameful loss for the BobbleHeads

That was so blanking good!! I hate musicals in general. I did enjoy Hamilton via TV and would have liked to hear it discussed due it not being conventional. I also saw Wicked in Boston and cried as soon as it started from sheer joy. I don't hate all musicals, just most!

I have loved musicals my whole life. I prefer movie versions. Favorites are The Wiz, Sweet Charity, Guys and Dolls, The Pajama Game, The Music Man, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar. I could go on. I am known to break out into song randomly in public if the spirit moves me. I rewatch regularly. I don't know where this myth came from. My love of musicals came from y grandma and great uncle.

Bob, Please stop saying Black People hate Musicals. That’s simply not true. We love musicals. They just need to be good musicals that includes stories and characters about us. Along with great music, choreography and performers. Amazing Black Musicals: Stormy Weather Cabin in the Sky Carmen Jones The Wiz These are just a few. The musicals written and performed on the great "white way" of Broadway. Often aren’t written with us in mind. Aren’t telling our stories, nor even including any people of color as characters. Or …… They’re often Corny as Fuck! But even then, some Black People like corny music and musicals. Black people have different tastes, styles and likes just like any other race. We all don’t like the same thing just cause of our color. The question isn’t "Why do Black People hate Musicals"? It should be … "Why are broadway plays and musicals still failing include more stories and characters people of color?". If they did, think how full gold the "great white way" would be.

Maybe it’s just my black family and friends, but we’ve always loved musicals. I geek out more than my parents, but the love started from them taking me to musicals and operas at a young age. And Disney lol

I’m not going for the Glee Slander from millennials 💀but I did love this video! 🙂

My favorite movie of all time is The Wiz. The greatest soundtrack of all time. Quincy Jones was COOKING. Outside of that, I can go without people breaking out into songs. Musicals lack soul, imo. Just read the script, please 🤷🏾‍♀️. (Oh, I loved Grease as well.)

Such a fun conversion

I want to get into musicals more. Now they’re a bit expensive and long lol (ADHD) but I wish I had made them a part of my life when I was younger. Def want to take my nieces and nephews to see them

I love musicals! But honestly, every Black ensemble dancer I’ve seen brings this natural swag that stands out. The other ensemble members often end up feeling less dynamic, and their usual response is to just push their energy to 200%, which can feel a hella off.
