Never again tell the lie that black people and dark skinned black people DON’T need color correction. We do! YOU DO!! Unfortunately, because of your colorblind condition. You may not be able to see the areas on your face where color correction is so greatly needed (i.e. under your eyes, your eye lids, your forehead before your hairline and under your chin to name a few). As seen in this video. Color correcting those areas would have made the next applications and blending steps look more natural and fluid. B. PLEASE LEARN YOUR COLOR UNDERTONES! I’m not yelling. I’m begging with emphasis. Again, I understand your condition. However, call Layla, Kimchi or Trixie and ask them to come and give you a comprehensive undertone assessment. This will go a long way in your make up application and style game period. Because even with your condition. You will understand and know what colors by name are warm tones, cool and neutral. You will then know which of those three will best bring your glow to the forefront. You’re a star so your glow should shine. C. For the love of God and All that is Holy in this World. Please find a translucent powder that matches your skin tone. I’m legit triggered when I see you putting on pale cool tone white translucent powder meant for Asian and white skin. Knowing there are amazing famous black make up artists that are fighting to create space and makeup lines for us. Maybe you don’t know about Danessa Myricks line. Her make up line is designed to be used for 8k TV and Film as well as daily wear. SHE HAS 8-12 DIFFERENT SHADES OF TRANSLUCENT POWDER FROM WHITE, PINK TO DARK CHOCOLATE! Sam Fine, Kevin Auccion the OG makeup legends of the game have colors and lines that can work with your skin tone. But Sis, you got to come prepared to play. I get these are to be light and funny. Which I enjoy, but when you throw out wrong generalizations about us as black people, or skin tone needs, etc even in jest. I got to say something. I also want to help you. Cause this was a great tutorial and you didn’t look bad. However, had you had the right tools and some more know how. You would have come out looking amazing. Soft, Subtle Succulent, Juicy💦 Which isn’t that what we all want…. A Soft, Succulent, Juicy Bob. 🥰😘

A makeup audit would be fun.. or maybe going shopping with a black influencer or makeup artist who can help Bob get the right shades. These vids are so entertaining, but I'd love to see Bob with richer tones for his foundation. Something warmer with red or peach undertones not yellow or gold. Also, people darker than Bob color correct. It's about creating an even base to start with by cancelling out hyperpigmentation, redness, etc.
