So I started using the sketch book as a way to warm-up in the mornings, and while it has really shown me how inconsistent my skill can be from day to day, I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing.

You can't always be 'on'. Sometimes it feels like I've forgotten how to draw, and letting other people see the things you are less proud of can be really scary. But for me, only showing my best is just as nerve-racking.

Keeping this sketch book has helped me face those fears, because you can see the progress in chronological order, it becomes a diary of successes and failures. I am not proud of all of these pages, but I promised I would share everything with you, and so I will.

I finally finished Alexandria's folder, and our new friend 'Barry' is in the very last page. I will probably take a break from figure drawing though, and start practicing hands again. I have a feeling it is going to be pretty awkward and filled with a lot of experimenting, because I really don't like how I draw hands. Look forward to that I guess!
