Frieren actually won the official anime industry(TAAF) of the year award in Japan. Solo levelling just won Crunchyrolls anime of the year which has somehow been mistaken as THE official award in the west. Crunchyrolls award is no different to IGN awards etc. in Japan they don’t recognise these American platforms as awards for their shows

You’re crazy lol yes it’s not solo leveling good and wasn’t even comparing it to Anything lol but it’s still good. It already has 2 with a 3rd on the way. I mean people are suggesting shows that literally just came out with 1-2 eps lol they would definitely like it and the references

You’re crazy lol it’s definitely already passed frieren. It’s always the highest rated show and manga. Plus the international love is crazy. Japan is one piece themed like crazy and even has statues all over their parks lol it’s a good show and definitely up there compared to some new shows coming out but will never be over one piece( actually while it’s on its current break then yes, for now)
