NEVER doubt DavidPro when it comes to pacing & sound design/SFX. Apparently this episode adapted 9 chapters from the manga, we’ve only ever seen something like that recently with Bleach TYBW EP 20 featuring Kenpachi where it covered 8 chapters as a whole volume. Ppl were worried, bitching and complaining that this season would be end being a flop to crash & burn but as we can see, that’s all been put to rest. Between this and JoJo’s SBR they’re taking over, or at least going to be on par with Mappa and Pierrot for this year.

Yo just wanted to let y’all know that there might be a problem with the release schedule of it’s always sunny for the rookie tier cuz ep 2x10 is already out on YouTube but it’s still not available for rookie tier. The rookie tier is at 2x8. Am I wrong or shouldn’t rookie tier eps be ahead of the YouTube schedule by a week or two? Appreciate it

Great post discussion and I’ll add this, they’re more like soldiers than police officers. I think there was room for more discussion on why but not necessarily by him; he’s the chief of that area with a lot of responsibility and had been doing this for awhile hence his convos with Beni. This was before they had the Empires support so it was just them. He likely didn’t see the need for anything else with that kid since for him it was just part of the job and that kid likely wasn’t the first to say that to him. Plus, there’s no guarantee an explanation would have saved him anyways 🤷🏾‍♀️. I’ll also add that when it comes to grief sometimes an explanation can be seen as an excuse that still doesn’t make sense, no matter how justified your reason is. It sucks and we hope ppl have support in times like this but the world is crappy which is why he wasn’t even upset about being killed and accepted his death. He did the best that he could and what he felt was right at the time.

Also, emotional support that a kid may need is likely more than just a single convo. If I was the leader, I’d be wary to start something I couldn’t finish. Could I really be there for him the way he needed? Would he feel like I abandoned him after that one convo? Would he really want to hear why his mom needed to die from her killer? Sometimes good intentions make things worse
