it’s not based on the middle east and egypt It’s main inspiration is “Ancient egypt” and has influence of indian and arab culture

Alabastas Main influence is Ancient egypt, with sprinkles of Indian and Arab culture throughout. People assume its based on the middle east because of the clothing and some other stuff, but oda has specifically said ancient egypt is the influence and a data book (although not directly written by oda) says India as well and it’s clear the Arab influence as well, even though it’s never specifically mentioned anywhere that ik.

Indians weren’t in the region of ancient Egypt, the Alabasta kingdom’s dresses and culture is heavily inspired by the North African Arabs. Cobra himself always looked like a modern eggptian.

I genuinely hated the first season with a passion I can say tho so far this season is leagues better than the first my only issues with this episode is the Zoro vs the 100 in the live action they have him acting more like post time skip Zoro meaning we miss the comedy moments of early Zoro and how in the fight he didn’t take it seriously so he was messing around with them just trying to test what his new swords could do and the other thing is Igaram dying to Mr 5 the scene of robin blowing him up is one of the best in this arc but I won’t say those things are major enough to say this is a bad episode just things that I personally don’t like
