Comments

Dioly Cabrera

THERE IT IS! BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BOYS!!!

The Artist

Let's see if this is as controversial as the 1st movie💀

Paweeze33

That is so cap there’s no way y’all waited that long and not seen the film😭😭😭 definitely watched it opening night

Hiiim_Steevo

This might be a weird request, but where is the reaction for the new Lanters trailer on youtube?

Anonymous

Been waiting for this!!!

ExherialsDad

Yall going to react to the new Avatar movie?!

Miguel

If only they animated a good story like berserk

Súper

lol they always shiting on other movies bro how many times they said this is the best anime that demon slayer movie was alright bro there’s so many fights that’s better than that

RT TV

Already did look below

InsaneH

Peak movie

Miguel

Peak shonentard lol

Miguel

Jerry said demon slayer had a top 10 backstory in anime 💀

Miguel

I guess spamming a sad backstory after every demon they defeat does appeal to some people 😂😅

Tito Ekwueme

Akaza dragged but the fights and depth to him were incredible

Joey Tiramisu

Giyu was the best part about this movie but the overall pacing was very off. It 100% felt like this was meant to be multiple episodes/short season with the various subplots in the film. Chainsawmans film actually felt like one with great pacing flowed and matched perfectly.

Miguel

Chainsawman is also just a whole lot more interesting as a series in general than demon slayer

Blackest Knight

The wait definitely helped ADD to their affection for the series. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, Maaan. They also ranked this show S-tier above all but 2 or 3 other animes (Aot and MHA, I believe) that they've watched together. KEY: Watched TOGETHER. They might have had a completely different experience and tier list had They watched these shows on their own first, but since it's a group reaction thing, they value their overall experience more. Not to say quality don't matter. It just says that THEY have a different opinion than most based on the fact that they watched it all together as friends. The convos, the jokes, the jumps, the bad takes... all of that adds up, and Demon Slayer is one of their best reactions of all-time. So yeah

Blackest Knight

UfoTable only touches it if they can do whatever they want with it. They typically don't adapt Manga because they don't care to recreate someone else's ART. They don't do manga panels, homie 😤 lol

Miguel

Rttv’s logic is basically, better animation = better anime

Alex

Ngl I feel you I would like it to be an episode instead of a movie can’t believe we still have to for the other 2 movies I despise canon movies reason I don’t want no godvalley movie and a jjk movie for the most anticipated if you know you know.

Blackest Knight

Ayo, I got to see this Imax, and for some reason, I hated it 😆 idk why, it just wasn't scaled right to the screen and I couldn't get over it the entire 2 and a half hours. Beyond that, I thought it was OK. This one was Lite in comparison to what's to come. It's kinda hard to judge fairly, because it's a true 3-parter, and not a stand alone film. It's not one full arc neatly placed in a movie. So, FOR ME, I'm much more hype for part 2 and 3, as I've been spoiled to the manga since before watching this one. Decent movie still. 8.5 for me? 8 at WORST. I honestly was disappointed by Akaza in every way in this movie, but I loved that the parts that I didn't expect to like stole the show for me. Giyu da GOAT 🐐 and Reze was a 10/10. Blam.

Blackest Knight

IDK man, Invincible almost made S-tier for them lmao

Joey Tiramisu

For sure. That season 1 alone eclipses any season from demon slayer, no idea why they got rid of the director. That season also has great rewatch ability

Miguel

Haven’t watched it but thats also not an anime

Tito Ekwueme

nice. i could actually stand ZENITSU for once in this show. cool

travviii

theyve said multiple times they are waiting so we can get their blind reactions lol i commend their self control so we can get this dope reaction

Tito Ekwueme

50:15 i feel kaigaku. i used to think so lmao😂

NoxKing

same clown was hating on bleach lmao i cant stand these bozos, demon slayer is so hard carried by animation it isn't even funny

Rysk

"the unfortunate circumstances you meet as a human leads you to become a demon, and then as you die as a demon you remember what was most human about you." Is unironically a tuff ass quote

Miguel

Yea and he doesn’t seem to complain about the ridiculous plot armor in this show (and fairy tail) but he does in bleach only

Miguel

Demon Slayer: Infinite Flashbacks, that might be the worst paced movie I’ve ever watched 💀

KlausTop1

The Chainsaw man movie better what is Pat talking about.

Miguel

They be judging off fights but even the fights were better in csm it dont make sense

Weiyi Zhao

nah, the fight in this movie is better. just accept it lmaoo😂😂😂😂

KlausTop1

Definitely not lol 😭

Miguel

This movie was genuinely buns, the pool scene in CSM alone might’ve been better than this entire movie

Jordan Branch

Great movie man can't wait until 2nd one but Demon slayer is not that good storywise but fights are excellent.

Miguel

Rttv might be the king of recency bias, every new anime movie/fight is the best of all time. Even out of just shonen movies, this is not top 5 💀

Blackest Knight

Naw this rewatch HURT me 😆 I won't go into it, but I hated everything about that Akaza backstory and the end of that fight. All of the story telling in this movie was MID AF and I think it was actually weak FOR THE SERIES. The story telling peaked with The entertainment district arc and I can't say it's been BAD... but this just wasn't it, Chief. I normally think it tells the story as well as it could be told. I cannot say this about this movie. Point is, I perfectly understood the movie, and I liked it, but the story telling was the weakest part of the movie. Respectfully.

Ronin Ghoul

Watching this again to see if my thoughts on it would falter; it didn't. To ME, the movie was alright. Not good or bad, JUST alright. I felt there was something missing. The action was great. The animation was the usual DS animation.(Which ISN'T bad.) Between this movie & CSM Reze. To ME, Reze was BETTER.🤷🏾‍♂️ I'm looking forward to seeing if the OVERALL trilogy is better as a whole. 🤔

Jessy Araiza

Praying for The Hangover reaction drops tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏

Ren

did joel read the manga

Iso Ren

I luh yall for waitin fr I could never wait i seen this shit first day out and I went again the next week movie was 🔥

Jessicaa 🫐

This movie was absolutely amazing!! So glad I got to rewatch it while also seeing your guy's great reaction to it as well. By far the best movie I watched last year, hands down!

Daniel Odunukwe

Look, I will say it: Demon Slayer is carried by animation, and this movie itself proves it so much. I read the damn manga, and even though Akaza was my favorite demon, I totally forgot about his backstory after I was done with the manga. Now, watching it as an anime, I remember it and find it more interesting than what I fucking read. The fights were alright, not the best fight I've seen in anime even this year. The backstory was the best thing about the anime, and that's saying a lot. I give the movie a 7.5/10

Daniel Odunukwe

Recency bias is really the flaw of the RTTTV group for real.

Yamin Aqeeli

Can’t believe this many people are mad that some enjoyed a movie lmao. “You can’t say it’s that good or else I’ll be pissed” so corny.

botanbutton

Well, this is the first part to three so it's gonna feel like its missing something compared to Reze, which covers one whole arc.

botanbutton

I mean, this is 1 part to 3 parts (which will cover over 40 chapters). Reze is one whole arc (like less than 15 chapters I think) with proper bookends if you will. So its to be expected.

Dante

This shit was so mid

Badsos123

Pure greatness is demon slayer!!! Where's the dumbass demon slayer haters at???!!

TR

Will yall watch ‘Fuze’? it came out this year

AB

avatar movie and DS movie same week🔥🔥 thank you rttv!! boys working!!

Rayloeverydaylo

Shoutout to yall for waiting that’s actually crazy!!! Thanks for keeping the reaction’s pure

Miguel

Csm is just written wayyyy better

Gintoki Translations

great movie, great reaction! just wanna say, demon slayer creator loves gintama, as you continue gintama (and demon slayer) you might find some cool parallels.

Ban

Honestly, the fact none of yall watched in theaters is such a crazy sacrifice to your fandom. Cause it DID look absolutely crazy in theaters so before I even continue watching I have to say thank you and give yall yall flowers for the dedication to your platform

KadeTheGreat

Yall the goats for waiting i hadda see it day one. Goat reaction

Tsp x fuze

HELL YEAH, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY.

botanbutton

Thanks for the reaction! I guess maybe part 2 will be next year? 🤔 Phew, thank goodness my previous comment was deleted. I didn't mean to spoil 😅 That was me misremembering and not fact checking.

Zo Funni

i havent watched it either yet, even tho i waited so long for it. The thought of there having to be a continuation nd not the end of that arc or story makes me not want to watch yet tbh. and then time moved on.. yada yada, interest gone yada yada. ok, good night XD

Frederick

If you watch the English dub. Akaza’s sensei is voiced by Channing Tatum. He actually did a great job.

Supreme -

It was not. CSM was better

Michael Velasquez

or you just a demon slayer hater lol we can see your multiple comments you being salty they dont love bleach as they do ds. To each their own, some people prefer csm, others ds.

Michael Velasquez

lol what are you even talking, even NOT anime fans have heard about this DS movie worldwide, you just salty

Louis

Yall don’t know how I was giggling in my kitchen when I saw they dropped the DS movie cause I knew Rob finna go crazy for the Zenitsu fight😂😂😂😅😅😅 (and pause on giggling i usually don’t be doin that, on some real man shit)

Miguel

I couldn’t care less if a group of people who judge anime based on the animation like demon slayer more than bleach, bleach’s manga is objectively superior to demon slayers

BangChans_ChopStix

Why are you here if ya’ll don’t like Demon Slayer?

NoxKing

no one said that buddy, relax

Miguel

Wasn’t talking about popularity 🤦‍♂️

SLEEZYDADON716

That movie was actually even better than I heard it was, wow. I don’t know who started the bs rumor that Demon Slayer has no story but they lied. Demon Slayer is extremely emotion based. The action just adds on to the story. O.a.n, the fact that they mapped out all of that area and number 4 just made an entirely new infinite world was a big L for the team. It’s cool though because gang nem about to go crazy in the next movie. Zenitsu went absolutely nuts, I am so proud of my son 😤💪🏾 This was a top tier reaction. One of the best I’ve seen in 10 years 👌🏾

Black Dragon

brooooooo its hard to hear the movie

Unknown wanderer

This dude just in the comments being a hater, dont even give him any attention.

Paweeze33

Did yall know Channing Tatum voiced Akaza’s master in the dub🤣🤣🤣 and he actually did a pretty good job

Blackest Knight

Ayo, Perfect time to run back Demon Slayer 2 for a tourney! You can get DLC for Infinity Castle versions of all the characters in this movie (that had a fight)

TiaMarie

No way it’s this many of y’all mad because they’re giving an opinion we all watch to see 😂. “Recency bias” is crazy fr. They like the movie.. I mean the movie hit a bill for a reason. And tbh the only people upset at their reaction must not know because they reacted 10x harder to some scenes in the Entertainment Arc finale years ago. Obviously they like the anime. If it don’t apply let it fly 🙄. Can they not like the movie even though some of y’all dont think it was “all that”?

DarkBre

I personally loved this movie and seeing it in theaters was such an amazing experience. Can’t wait for the next one and great reaction!!

Sarah

I love this movie, it's my favourite movie literally of all time

Katra

CSM Reze was better as a movie. This movie was just a bunch of episodes stitched together like Mugen Train. I enjoyed it overall.

Jackson perez

I mean they just followed the pacing of the Manga.

Jackson perez

This is more of a statement of your reading comprehension than anything

❦

who asked???? go claim that gooner anime

Seth

I pirated it like a year ago 🤣

Andres Lupercio

It’s ok that bleach won’t have anything to ever touch this movie no need to be salty and spread hate

Andres Lupercio

Trippin I love chainsaw man but it doesn’t have anything that comes close to this movie

C.D.W Rollin

To u yea but overall the numbers don’t lie lil buddy..Demon slayer blows Cs out so bad that it’s not even close or comparable. The people have spoken with their wallets lol.

Joey Tiramisu

Fast and furious makes a lot of money, wtf does that mean🤣

shemshamx

ultimately, Akaza would've won fair and square if he didn't let himself die. Because him being pratically semi-immortal is part of his evolution, it wasn't an external thing he used, that was just simply him, UPPER MOON THREE🔥
