Sae Byeok and JiYeong was extremely tragic, their friendship kind of just spurred out from this madness. The way Ji Yeong kept mentioning jeju island or when we get out of this place is relatable such as when you are with good friends and feeling happy and kind of just live in the moment you can just forget about everything else it ended very sadly and leaves a tragic feeling of unfulfilled potential.

Yes! Also just that juxtaposition between everyone else fighting and tricking each other, and them actually being honest and real and somehow forming a bond against all odds. So so so sad!

This is absolutely some of the most tragically depressing TV I had ever seen at the time and honestly is still up there. I've never suddenly hated a character as quickly as that snake Sang-woo. Absolutely shameful. It was almost like he didn't really care about Ali at the end. Whereas Gi-hun was devastated by what he had to do to Il-nam and visibly heartbroken. I have argued this was the case with so many people, I think Sang-woo was always just a terrible person given how he ended up needing to participate in the first place. Just as Gi-hun was forced into a terrible situation by things beyond his control but still TRIED to be better at least.
