Some people didn't like that Nagato brought people back but I actually really liked it because it felt earned and like an in-character thing to do. Nagato inflicted hell on Naruto and even then Naruto not only didn't succumb to pain but literally quoted his own words back to him as a reason why. So it makes sense that Nagato would go out of his way to "reduce the pain" to make Naruto's chances of succeeding higher.

He wasn't just "making thousands of innocent people suffer for shit that they had nothing to with". If he wanted to do that, he could have gone to each village and simply wiped them out. He's going after the tailed beasts because his plan is to actually lead to peace. But his own experiences taught him that this was the only way to peace. This is why Minato talked about how Pain was just a symptom of the real problem: the system that created Pain. Leaders like Hanzo and Danzo doing shady stuff to increase their own power for their villages, which creates enemies like Pain. And on the other hand, peaceful leaders like Sarutobi and Tsunade who are not as hardline, who let rogue ninjas like Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Sasuke roam free and show up later to cause even more problems for people. (Orochimaru killed the Kazekage, Hokage, and started a war between leaf and sand. Sasuke attacked the Raikage's brother which could possibly lead to war with the Cloud) Most of these characters aren't traditional villains. The Ninja world they live in is the problem.

That's because you don't live in a war torn world like them. Villiages all accept contracts to murder because murder and war is everyday life for them. You're speaking from your peaceful comfortable Internet life in modern society.

So he murdered the villiages just like the villiages did when they started the 3 previous wars which was on a far bigger so basically Nagato commited normalised Naruto murder. There's zero difference.

He's only a terrorist by the Villiage systems definition, The same people that comitted genodice on Uchiha, or the Mist who created the blood mist and forced kids to off each other, or The Raikage who kidnapped kid Hinata for her eyes, or Onooki who hired the Akatsuki in the past. Nagato is no different from anyone else in that world. He simply returned that same energy. You're only applying the wrong to Nagato even tho he only exists because of THEIR decisions. Danzo is responsible for Nagato and therfore is automatically worse.

Well this episode was about nagato that’s why I was talking about him but just like you said he applied the same energy but that’s what makes him scum just like the other characters that you mentioned I would argue nagato is far worse tho cuz he tried to end the world with the infinite tsukuyomi oh and the uchiha had to go they were always trying to start war fuck them

Blood Wizard The only village Pain went to and killed thousands of innocents was the Leaf. And it was not for world domination. He could dominate the world with the Akatsuki without the tailed beasts if he wanted. He was trying to stop the cycle of war and hatred by giving the nations weapons and letting everyone see how terrible and painful war is, so they would be scared into peace. If you think Pain was just trying to kill people and dominate the world, you misunderstood his entire character.

He didn't do it though, Nagato undid everything he did to Konoha so if you peep his actual sin, It's only really Jiraiya, Hanzos family and 5 Jinchuriki since 3 Tails was free. It's the villiages who have kill counts in the 1000s not him, Madara is so much worse.

It ain't that deep bro a lot of Buddhist literature and asian WWII novels have stories like this. Nagato is still just using excuses for doing what his oppressors did emotion and pain doesn't justify that. Nagato is a cry baby and if Yahiko knew all of this would have happened he would have killed him himself.
