From fetch quests into troublesome monster hunts, if that ain't how sidequests go....

Kraft's stone statue has to be old, because it's not made of bronze like Himmel's Party. In the episode with Kraft, when Frieren said she doubts the existence of the Goddess, Kraft said, "oh, you're still young". In the statue, Kraft's outfit is that of a warrior. His human partner was a priest, so my pet theory (I haven't read the manga) is that after his homie passed on, Kraft took up his homie's Priest robes and his faith, and became a Monk. I think he chose Monk, since Priests need the blessing of the Goddess to practice their magic, and Monks practice martial arts like hand to hand combat, which is a more connected skillset to Kraft's, while having faith in the Goddess.

Kraft was most certainly a warrior in the past.
