I'm glad that they show the Kakashi Gaiden flashback again, but for some reason they cut out the one line that sort of foreshadows Obito's turn. After saying the classic line about abandoning even one of your friends, he says "and if that's not what a true Shinobi is, then I'll just crush this so-called Shinobi" while walking away. I still don't know why they cut that from the flashback here but it irritates me lol

So idk if it’s ever explained, but kakashi can’t turn his sharingan off because he doesn’t have an Uchiha body. That’s why he gets so gassed when just using the base sharingan and keeps it covered. This is also presumably why orochimaru doesn’t just implant sharingan eyes. He wants the body to go with it.

I've been waiting for you guys to remember that Yamato changed his voice back at the beginning of Shippuden. I forget who, but someone did it when pretending to be Naruto in the forest of death too. I guess Naruto technically uses the technique when he does his sexy jutsu lol and when he pretended to be Sauske to hit on Sakura. Tbh I feel like more people could be transforming combine with voice alteration and really messing with people in the verse but then again I guess the explanation would be all the sensory ninja would see through it. If thats the case maybe Neji should have just looked at Obitos face and described it lol. "Hes not that old cant be Madara"

for oroshimaru it's because of that, but also because sharigan deploy all it's power when used in a uchiha body (itachi said it when he fight kakashi in OG naruto)

The Zabuza fight is actually a good reason why Kakashi took so long to use his Mangekyo. He was still not very good at using base Sharingan so it depleted his chakra and with more practice over the next 3 years he was able to improve to the point of being able to use the Mangekyo (if he even knew he had it). Even in Shippuden you see Kakashi get better using Kamui. At the beginning against Deidara using Kamui even a few times knocked him out for a whole arc. Now he's lowkey spamming it and still fighting.
