This backstory is crazy. Kakashi pretty much lived his whole life for obito, and for breaking their promise.Even the sharingan, I'm convinced he kept forcing himself to use it in memory of obito. Kakashi was a prodigy, I'm pretty sure he would be closer to kage level if he focused on his own shit and not force himself to use an incompatible sharingan that drains his energy. The difference is huge, obito spamming kamui every exchange while kakashi is on the floor after like 3 uses.

Yeah kakashi was strong but I don’t think the sharingan was holding him back if anything it made him stronger he would eventually go blind because he doesn’t have ems but still and obito just being able to spam mangekyto and controlling multiple jinchuriki without breaking a sweat is just bull shit in the war arc everyone just randomly got unlimited chakra for no reason even kakashi

Regular sharingan dont have abilities like that, as to how he "seems as if he phased through the rocks" as a kid. Its never explained, maybe near death brought out the ability that one time to save him. Idk kishimoto never mentions it again lol

It's actually a mangekyo sharingan ability, as regular sharingan just has the basic abilities.

Yo am I trippin or do they keep changing which side of Obito was crushed. His right side is crushed in the flash back which is why I assume grown Obito has those wrinkles on his face on the right side (where his remaining Sharingan is). But in the flashback with Madara his left side has the wrinkles lol. Also in the fight against Minito he one arm gets blown up and melts off right? I know this happens at one point and I sorta remember it being the left one? But that should be the good arm... Although in this current state he has his right sleeve ripped off from Naruto's Rasengan and its a normal arm. Maybe I'm missing something.

Later on we see why kakashi and everyone gets chakra, its a highlight moment of the war arc. Obito's body is also made of hashirama cells/zetsu so he doesnt need ems.

maybe an animation error (like inverted mangekyo sharingan in kakashi vs sasuke at the bridge, or madara rinnegan before he used susanoo for the first time) or maybe because he's enveloped by a white zetsu in the fight vs minato, his body merged with it (which is also the reason of why he can spam kamui through the entire manga without going blind, as zetsu are hashirama "clones"), and even his right arm melt like goo when damaged unlike the others animations error, the same happen in the manga

It goes by quick but I'm surprised they didn't catch that Tsunade was split in half from that tree. I feel the anime wanted that scene to go by quick. I remember I couldn't believe it when I read it in the manga.

That's an oversimplification. Obito saw the person closest to him killed by the person he entrusted to protect her. And he had sacrificed his life to ensure that those two remained safe. If it really was just all about Rin, his goal would be all about bringing her back and punishing Kakashi. But what he saw broke his worldview and made it so that all he could do was laugh at the absurdity of the world he lived in and determined to create a world where nothing like that could happen again. It's why he's completely locked in on the Infinite Tsukuyomi rather than using things like Rinne Rebirth or Renaimation to get Rin back and pretty much let Kakashi be.
