The season 1 finale is pretty good, it is probably my favourite of this season. Not going to say why exactly cause I don't want to spoil anything but things take a little turn lol honestly this show knows how to make good season finales every season they know how to keep you wanting more lol

My favorite is also the finale. But the 2 parter (Aptly named "The One With Two Parts") is good too. I see season 1 as mostly an introduction to all the characters and their stories before we really start getting into some of the BIG plotlines.

My favourite episode from season one is either episode 7, 18 or the season finale. Can't choose between them! It's funny cuz David Schwimmer hated working with the monkey (who was played by two different monkeys) because of how much the animal trainers dictated their time on set and wouldn't let him bond with them. David came under fire for those comments, specifically from Mike Morris, the animal trainer who worked on Friends, who called the actor "despicable" and claimed he was "jealous" of the monkey. Matt LeBlanc, however, admitted he had no problems with the monkey, though obviously David is the one who worked with them the closest. David is played by Hank Azaria who voiced several characters on The Simpsons. He has suffered from alcoholism and credits Matthew Perry, his longtime friend, for helping him get sober. I love David and he and Phoebe are so cute together! But it always bothered me how they said Minsk is in Russia, when it is, in fact, in Belarus, which has been independent from the Soviet Union since 1991 (three years prior to this episode), which is when Minsk was declared the capital. Minsk also happens to be where Lisa Kudrow's relatives are from. "Shiny Happy People" by R.E.M. which is played in the beginning of the New Year's Eve party scene was the original theme song from the pilot before it was later replaced by "I'll Be There For You".

Lots of good ones this first season. There’s a two part episode I really enjoy, the finale and also one that involves them playing poker. I’ll think about those and narrow it down.

The only comment I have for this ep is how wicked Phoebe's hair looks in this episode!! Hair goals. OH. And as for the question at the end: either 1x15 (The One with the Stoned Guy) or 1x23 (The One with the Birth)

My favorite is the second part of The One With the Two Parts. Why will be apparent when you watch it. But i also loved the George Stephanopoulos and The Blackout. I have always loved the character of David. Hank Azaria is awesome. Yes, he is known for voice acting, but he's also hysterical as the house boy in The Birdcage.
