I think Charlie is the most talented. But what he’s talented at is not what’s right for glee. Like I would LOVE to see him at an intimate venue. But being an amazing artist I feel like almost hinders you when you are in glee. Because everything is really planned out and specific. You don’t really get to show your creativity. So I think it was the right choice. Could have been him or Nellie. But I think because he’s been in the bottom so many times that was the defining factor.

This is the most difficult bottom three ever I'd say. These three are my favourites and in my opinion purely the best of all the contestants, so it's just hard for me to watch them and see one go...

My homework assignment winner: Michael, Blake or Lily My top 3: Lily, Ali and Blake My #1 overall: Lily My bottom 3: Nellie, Michael and Charlie (or Abraham, but I didn't really see enough of him to judge his performance, he was just there). Who I would have cut: Michael Who I would have cut from their bottom 3: Charlie (or no one). I'm so biased when it comes to Nellie because she was literally my all time favourite from day one so I definitely would not have sent her home, but she deserved the bottom 3 for sure. I feel like I can't be too hard on her because I know what it's like to be insecure about your body and the thought alone of doing something that is so out of my comfort zone gives me a panic attack (which is why I would never do a show like this). I haven't gone swimming in YEARS because I'm so ashamed of my body, mainly because of my weigt and my self harm scars. But like they said, in this instance you ARE acting so you just gotta fake it. You can still be yourself, just a more confident version and even if you don't fully believe it. Also, to most people her body looks amazing but you can still be insecure no matter how 'good' you look. As annoying as Lily can be sometimes, seeing someone bigger like her be so confident and comfortable in their body is wonderful to see (especially as a bigger person myself). I like Michael and I thought he did great in the HWA (agree that most of the boys were better), but I feel like he gets in his head way too much and I understand how some people might find him boring (even though I don't). Also, the only kind of character I could see him do on Glee is the math geek who is also a stud, which could have worked, but other characters just feel more interesting. In spite of unprofessionalism sometimes, I just love Charlie. I like his spirit and creativity. His LCP are always so entertaining to watch. But I understand he might not be right for the show because he has proven to be a person that can be hard to work with (though I thought they were sometimes being a bit extra). Lots of people thought Charlie and Aylin's relationship was PR for the show but they dated for a about a year afterwards. Fun fact: The Hit Me With Your Best Shot/One Way or Another mashup was also performed on Glee S3E6. Also, Rock Anthony who appeared in S3 of Glee appears in the music video as the guy who pours a slushie over Aylin (he played a bully named "Rick The Stick" on the hockey team).

Nellie's just young and doesn't have confidence in her body yet. Which is unfortunate because she has the voice and she HAS the smoldering look. She's just not able to own it yet. She probably could've blazed through this competition had she been a few years older. Charlie has a bit of a Cory vibe off-camera but it doesn't carry over in his acting. He's also way too easily distracted. which is unprofessional. As a last-chance performer, he always delivers. I wish he could've stepped up because I like his vibe more than Blake. (To be fair, 98% of my annoyance with Blake is his haircut.)

I totally forgot about this week’s results so I was actually shocked about Charlie’s elimination. At the same time, they did give him the same feedback 3 weeks in a row, and I would like to see Nellie try to apply herself once more, but Charlie sure did fight for that last chance performance. All 3 were stellar. I’m bummed that Nellie struggled so much when she really did slay back in sexuality week, but honestly, had I been a 19 year old on the glee project having to be in swim trunks next to Blake, Michael, and Abraham, I’d have been sooo uncomfortable too. I’m still as much Team Aylin now on this rewatch as I was back when it originally aired. I do hope you’ll find a contender you connect with as the pool narrows down. I always loved how you always rooted for Hannah last season. ☺️

I agree with the HW winner and my favorite this week is Lily. She did amazingly. Out of their bottom 3, I would’ve cut Charlie. Which is tragic because he is one of my favorites! But while I do believe that the mentors overexaggerate it his taking direction problems, it is a reoccurring issue that isn’t going away. But that’s it I had to choose because over wise Charlie would %100 stay. I’m really going to miss him. Though I’m happy that Nellie stayed. I think that she was kept over Charlie is because of the “problem” that Charlie keeps having while this was Nellie’s 1st time at the bottom and the issue she’s having is something that she overcame before. At this point, it’s getting harder for me to pick a bottom 3, but I would probably choose Abraham, Michael, and Nellie as well. She is my favorite contestant which makes it so sad! I relate to her so much and I LOVE her voice! I actually prefer this version of IIWAB over the glee one. I would cut Michael because where is he? I always forget he exists, he never stands out and just gets lost in the crowd. Like this seasons Sam Larson.

Bottom 3: Nellie, Michael, Charlie Who I'd Cut: Nellie Top: Ali, Lily, Aylin Blake surprised me with how well he rapped in the Homework. Ali was super fearless this week. Knowing she has trouble with temperatures but still taking the slushies like a champ. Kudos. Nellie needs to listen to the mentors because she is/was definitely a favorite and would have been a great addition to Glee. I think Charlie got cut because he was distracted in the vocal booth and faded in the video. His LCP was great though. And Aylin's LCP was stunning. Putting her in the bottom 3 because she giggled? Bullcrap. That was done for drama. I think and thought Charlie and Aylin were the cutest as a couple. Ah, young love. I agree about Abraham just fading into the background. Which is a shame because he was my favorite in the beginning.
