Yayyy I was waiting for this one! One of my fave episodes! Can't wait to watch it tomorrow 🥰

Omar Rodriguez

“Yeah there ‘s one problem with that. I did casted a curse that devastated an entire population. I have torture and muder. I have done some terrible things. I should be overflowing with regret but… I’M NOT! Because it got my son! (Rip ❤️ and take pandora’s box) Now… Let’s go save Henry!” WOOOOHOOOOOO GO REGINA!!!! Don't mess with Mama Bear. By the way I did redact this by memory due to the fact that it made such an impression on me that it basically got tattooed on my brain. Sorry 😅🙈

Those scenes with Henry crying really make me feel for Regina because when my son was just two weeks old he wouldn't stop crying, I took him to 3 docs and they all said he's fine, he's just feeling your stress, but I took him for a regular check-up and he'd lost too much weight thanks to regular vomiting which the docs called normal, he was sent to the hospital and he turned out to have Pyloric Stenosis, which is when the muscle lining the stomach is too thick and food, even milk can't pass through, he had to be transferred to hospital miles away and go through an operation to cut some of the muscle away. He suffered for two weeks because as a new mother no-one would take me seriously. All this is to say that sometimes a parent's instincts are spot on, so when Dr Whale mocks Regina I get a little bit angry Sorry for the rant Also great reaction :)

I think it’s interesting to delineate remorse from regret. I think Regina is working her way towards remorse for the things she did but can’t regret the circumstances that contributed to having Henry which is a huge step for someone who was conditioned to view love as weakness. I know not everyone would differentiate those two emotions but I think that’s what the show is trying to do here

I LOVE the lack of regret!! There is something so insanely VITAL to healing about this in my mind. To be able to look back and say yes, the past sucked and I hurt others, and I did terrible things and OWNING that. But not letting it chain you (literally in this case lol) and weigh you down to keep you in the past. Because to really grow and change you have to let that part of you go. To accept all that wrong and hurt but assert that I am here now. And I wouldn't change where I am now for anything. So, here's to going forward and mending instead of back and suffering. It's so powerful! AAA

I totally understand what you mean with the regret, but if Regina never cast the curse, Emma would have never met Neal because he was in the real world so Henry wouldn't exist at all. Also I think this show talks a lot about fate and your destiny and place in the world and stuff. This is Regina's destiny, it's where she's meant to be and the path she's meant to be on. Everything she's done led her to this place where she could finally love someone and it would begin to change her. Even though she had a really terrible past, she is so happy now and finally loves someone unconditionally so she doesn't regret what brought her to this present happiness. I think it's possible she feels remorse for the things she's done but doesn't regret them because it brought her to this amazing place where she has her son and her family is growing as she changes and the Charmings and others start accepting her a little more.

I think when she took the potion that took away her regret as well as her fears .

Rachel Arndt

I think the distinction between remorse and regret is important, but the thing is that Regina doesn't feel remorse either. She's never shown any. IF YOU HURT PEOPLE YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD ABOUT IT. You're right, it's psychopath behavior, Regina doesn't care about anyone but herself.

Kellie Ayers Burk

Regina doesn’t “regret” the things she’s done because she now has someone to love and who loves her in return. The only love she’s ever had was from her father and because of the choices she’s made she lost him and now she has a family even though it’s completly twisted they have each other. Keep watching I’m not going to give spoilers but it’s really hard. Remember everything makes sense as time goes on and the end nears.

Am I the only one who thinks Rumple woke up from the curse when he was arranging the adoption for Regina because he would have been doing it over the telephone so someone would have said Emma's name to him because he would have insisted on knowing about the birth parents? Because he seems very awake in the scene with Regina in his shop in this episode, at least to me 🤔😅 I mean he could have easily put himself back to sleep at some point (he has tons of magical items in his shop, I'm sure) so I'm not theorizing that he was awake the whole time, but I definitely see a difference between the way he acts when he's just Gold versus the way he acts when he's aware he's Rumple, and he was acting very Rumple-esque here...

He was always awake

Heaven Leigh Barras

No, he wasn’t. It’s explained better later in another episode. But he wasn’t awake until he heard Emma’s name, which was why he wrote it thousands of times while in his cell. Even though he could’ve gotten out of his cell instead of writing her name over and over. If he’d been awake for 28 years he would’ve gone crazy knowing he can’t find his son until the curse is broken.
