Love friends

Erin Perry

I think if he actually had a dream he should follow it. But he doesn't seem to know what that actually is. And it doesn't seem like he actively hates his job either. For me, my boss and the people I work with make all of the difference. As long as I work with good people and make decent enough money, it doesn't matter as much to me what I'm doing for work.

I too would absolutely take the promotion and do the same thing you said come up with a plan and while working and making that money. Thats basically what I am doing right now as I am in nursing school but I am also working full time hours doing a job that I don't exactly care for I am just doing it to make enough money for nursing school and for food and transportation. I am also someone who never quits a job until I have another job lined up as I need to always make money. The other thing with Chandler is while he doesn't like his current job he still doesn't know what he wants to do and still needs to figure that out. I would work that job until I know what I want to do as you don't know how long it will take to figure something like that out and if you need to go back to school for it then you will need money saved up for it. So with all of that I would definitely take the job while I figure out what I want to do and how to get that career.

I don’t love my current job but the people i work with are great and the pay and benefits are great, too. I do enjoy some aspects of my job and I do encounter really nice customers most of the time. Like today, I had a 3 hour conversation with a super sweet lady, but then there are the days where it feels like everyone is just calling to cuss me out.

I am one of those people that I feel you got to at least like what you for work as it makes you want to get up in the morning! I feel Chandler did the right thing here as he good at it ect but I'd feel a little different he had an idea of what he wanted to do .

I don't have a job currently due to mental health reasons but I also have no idea what I wanna do, kind of like Chandler here. In that case, I would take the job because at least I'm doing something and getting paid, but I would keep tryingto figure out what I wanna do. As for Monica's situation with the stoned guy, I have to disagree. You shouldn't put up with someone coming to your house stoned and is disrespectful & rude, especially if they might become your boss. I wouldn't wanna work for someone like that and I think Monica was very patient with him.

I agree Monica totally should have just rolled with it and made the man more snackies, lol!!! As for this episode's question... I'm going to kind of echo you about having an exit plan. About 15 years ago, a manager that I really respected gave me a quote that her boss had given her. The quote was "Always be in charge of your career departure." And it's stuck in my head ever since.
