Sooooo stoked that you are reacting to this, Aubrey! <3 Thank you, KD Smith, for the request! <3

mary-anne

love this movie! some of the best acting we’ve seen from Beyoncé imo!

Gemini

I was literally just watching the Dreamgirls reaction last night & was hoping you’d do this movie soon!! So this is right on time.

I Am Not Chamari

Yeah, this is Beyoncé's best acting (and vocal performance tbh) in a film! Really stellar. Glad I watched this again. I hadn't seen it since it came out, and I was like, 10 lol Something that is stamped in my head for all of time is when Bey performed At Last for President Obama and Michelle Obama on the night of his first inauguration. It was such a beautiful performance that acknowledged such a historic moment.

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

I agree this is one performance where she actually didn't just act like Beyoncé lol

Please react to Celine Dion opening ceremony at Paris Olympics

Dana (Dah-Nah)

yeah she lost a lot of weight to play Deena in Dreamgirls and gained a bit to play Etta here

fry

pretty certain beyoncé said she never cussed until playing this role and you can see it in her music how it changed from early beyonce to now

Bey Brown

Walter made music way longer, in real life than the movie portrayed after that police incident. He has multiple album covers with the healed wounds on his face. Muddy was the first artist, and he signed the worst deal. Chess kept him afloat because felt bad that he got rich and Muddy got nothing.
