Personally never got the hype around this episode

🐣 marisol 🌻

I loved this episode when I was younger but now I really wish they didn't try to retcon more Monica and Chandler backstory, it's not the worst but I just don't care for it as much anymore personally.

Just as an fyi, if you ever rewatch from the beginning, there's quite a few inconsistencies on when chandler joined the group (I think rachel "meets" him like three times). i think there are a few other bigger continuity errors throughout as well. So, if something seems like it really contradicts with something else that you remember happening, just know that you're probably not crazy, it's genuinely an error.

that Monica trying ti flirt scene give me second hand embarrassment imo lol but this is an iconic episode.

Melissa Johnson

In real life Matthew Perry is missing the tip of one of his fingers so this episode kind of alludes to that. I believe it's his right middle finger. It was a childhood injury.

Hahaha yay! There’s always a time for everything😆

Not my favorite episode, but still a good one. The turkey-on-the-head scene is iconic😆

Didn't Rachel get introduced to Chandler at the coffee shop in season one or am I not remembering that incorrectly?

amelia

You're right. It's an inconsistency

Alicia

This was one of my absolute favorites when I was a lot younger, but the older I get the less it holds up. I understand the humor, I just don't find myself laughing at it as much as I used to.

Lucy

I agree Monica would definitely not have put her head in a dead turkey even for Chandler. It would be too messy and unclean for her to even consider. The quote that Chandler says 'oh I'm a duck I go quack quack I'm happy all the time!' gets me giggling every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Turnip Crazy

Maybe Monica reintroduced them, cause Rachel didn't remember that at the time? Probably an inconsistency the writers forgot about though

Turnip Crazy

It's mostly to do with the fact that Chandler said he loves Monica in this episode

Skai Cloud

I remember the first time I watched this episode, the line "Oh my God... there's a toe in my kitchen" absolutely slayed me. I couldn't breathe XD

Bruno

I think maybe he (Chandler) is just mad at himself for calling her 'fat'. And maybe he just feel uncomfortable saying it. I'm reaching but maybe.
