I love that you're now on the perpetual Ross & Rachel rollercoaster where you constantly flip from wanting them together to not wanting them together at all 🤣 I can't believe we've been doing the Friends reactions for so long already! I simultaneously want you to binge watch all the rest so we get your reactions now, and to take your time so it's not over too fast!

I don’t understand how some folks aren’t up front and brutally honest with their nonnegotiable life things when you want a life long relationship. I can’t imagine falling for someone and then learning our needs don’t align, that would fucking hurt I’m sure. And you can say you want kids without giving Monica’s “I want your babies in me now” energy. I know biology is a factor and all, but still. Also, I feel like some people want babies and not kids, but that’s a whole other discussion. And despite my love/hate feeling towards Rachel and Ross’s relationship, I too totally thought they were about to get it on 😂

Love this episode - those triplets are so cute. Yes the whole babies discussion needs to happen asap in my opinion when in adult relationship. So you both know where you stand. My friend is exactly like Monica, I have known her since I was 12 (I'm now 40) and she has wanted a kid since she was about 16 no jokes. She wanted them with each boyfriend, and even when she was having fun with guys she admitted she was not using protection as she just wanted to get pregnant. My friend of a friend is thousands of pounds in debt as she wants a baby and they doing IVF, I think they are over £30,000. I feel there will be so much pressure on that poor kid if it ever happens.

Chandler does know how Monica feels about having kids considering he was there when Monica broke up with Richard for not wanting any more. Monica also knows that Chandler has some commitment issues so doesn't push him, which is why him suggesting moving in together is such a big thing.

This is my first time commenting cuz im finally caught up with the weekly releases. I just wanted to say HII! hehe. Love the community you've built on here. Such nice people. Friends has always been my fav comfort show. Once you're done with it and want something similar in wholesomeness, I think Modern Family is a good one to watch!

Of course they get put in charge of watching the triplets, and Chandler is the one who ends up in the ER after swallowing a small part from one of the kids’ toys. 😆🫨🤦🏻‍♀️ Poor Monica and her apartment always getting trashed for the sake of the storyline, but it’s expected when you have a hot mess group of friends like she does. 🥴 And with her apartment being the main setting of the show, she’s always going to be dealing with messes. It probably prepared her well for living with Chandler and sharing that space. Ross’s situation with Rachel is something I can understand, while also wanting to kick him for it. I know he’s hanging onto the marriage because, since he was a teenager, he’s always wanted to be with Rachel. So the fact that he ended up legally married to her, even though it happened in the worst possible way, is still technically the thing he’d dreamed about his whole life. Now he’s the one who has to decide whether to let that dream go, and I can empathize with that. If you put yourself in his shoes and were technically married to the person you’d always wanted to be with, even under terrible circumstances, it’d probably make you want to hang onto it too. That’s why I understand why he’s dragging his feet on getting the annulment/divorce. Of course, I also see Rachel’s side. Obviously. The whole thing was a complete mess, and if they were ever going to end up together, it needed to happen under much better circumstances. So I completely understand where she’s coming from too. I just think people are so quick to shit on Ross for absolutely everything, when at the end of the day he’s a very romantic, heart-on-his-sleeve kind of person. When it comes to Rachel, he’s incredibly steadfast. Other women come into his life, but they’re not Rachel, and I think that’s the undercurrent through and through. 👏🫶 As a kid watching this, Ross’s character never really made much sense to me. But as an adult, who knows life is messy, relationships are complicated, and love is rarely black and white, it’s much easier for me to understand where he’s coming from. I’m not saying the marriage should last this time around or that they should hang onto something that was a mess from the start, especially when they’ve never really worked through what happened before or what broke them up in the first place. ☝️ Nonetheless, I do have the ability to put myself in someone else’s shoes and understand their thought process. When I do that with Ross, I can see where he’s coming from. 🤍

I have show suggestions: watch Big Bang Theory
