I do work out while I'm watching, I've recently been diagnosed with Diabetes and need to adopt some healthier habits to help. I do this workout I found on Youtube and have it on silent while I watch your reactions. I've lost 6.6ibs in just over 3 weeks

I love when you call things out literally seconds before they happen lol The next episodes are some of my favourites

Just finished and I agree, Henry can be a lovable dorky brat sometimes. I really hope you consider watching the next two episodes back to back as they are a two parter and the season finale. Maybe not post them at the same time but you should def watch at the same time. I can’t wait for you to geek out over the next two rosters, they pack sooo much stuff into it to set up for season 3…damn season 3 already?!?

Once upon a time often aired the last two episodes on the same day, back to back, most of them are two parters! So I agree, you should watch these next two back to back :)

Zach Davis

Yep, even if she doesn’t drop them same day, she should watch back to back

Its always so interesting to me when people say they don't like Henry for running off or getting into trouble or not listening when everyone knows that kids, particularly boys, will tend to do just that out of nature. I don't get how people can blame a kid for being a kid But when a Grown person who Should Know Better, like Emma, does the same nobody bats an eye. Emma never listens to anyone and always just does whatever she wants, usually without thinking, and ends up getting people effed up. ..Like when Snow Told her that she needed to listen to her because she didn't understand the ways of the Enchanted Forest, but did she listen? Nope.! And instead almost got herself and three other people killed because she thinks she knows everything. Just like Henry but at least Henry has an excuse...

Well I’m still standing by you can’t blame a child for doing wrong bc children just do that until they learn and who is responsible for teaching them is the adults in their lives. Henry acts like that bc the adults in his life lets him act like that. It’s learned behavior and if a child learns he can run off and do what he wants and there’s no repercussions, then of course he’s gonna keep doing it. That’s honestly not Henry’s fault from a psychological perspective. That’s his parents responsibility to get that kind of behavior together and under control, not his at the age of an elementary school kid. In s1 he literally stole a credit card from out his teacher’s purse AND used it. I’m grown and I still shudder to think what would have happened to me if I would have done something like that. Hell I shudder as an adult to think of what I’d do to my own kid bc I’d be so pissed. But I bet NOTHING happened to Henry for that, no consequences whatsoever. In the coming seasons Henry will turn into a teenager and we’ll reach a whole new level of what he’s doing now bc you know teenager = I know everything so it’s gonna get worse but I stand by that’s bc his foundation was already set and bc he continues to not get any consequences for his actions from any of his 3 parents or his grands. That’s on them. Y’all so quick to let Emma use the excuse of “you can’t blame her, Emma never had anyone to teach her XYZ” boo hoo, cry me a river, but y’all blame an 11 year old and expects him to know to do the right things all on his own without being taught but Grown ssa Emma does the same & gets a pass SMH

Regarding Henry always running off he does so for 2 very good reasons . 1) he is often trying to save someone or many people . 2) He is in an automatic flight response from having his trust broken . Sometimes both are going on simultaneously! For example in season one he kept sneaking out to see Emma because he wanted to help her believe so she could break the curse and he felt betrayed by Regina .Another example of his sense of responsibility is when he stole the dynamite and took it to the well to destroy magic because he felt he needed to protect Regina and Snow ! I actually admire Henry for doing what he feels is for the greater good most of the time that he is disobedient. After all it is by doing what he does to find Emma and bringing her to Storybrook and then eating the apple turnover that leads to the breaking of the curse ! The rest of the time when he runs away it is from trauma so he is in flight mode . It may be that he becomes a brat later as a teenager but I don't see him as a brat at this point .

I think you give Henry a little too much slack. He is very smart no doubt but he is still a very young child. Children act on impulse all the time so it's pretty realistic. Especially being that Henry is a person that acts on emotions. Emma acts on emotions all the time throughout this show (where Henry gets it from tbh) but she gets no backlash from it while Henry, a 11 year old boy gets pulverized for doing the same thing. You're entitled to your opinion though of course and I respect it! Henry is just my favorite character so I'm defensive of him, haha

"They're kind of cute, actually. Like brother and sister." EW! Gross, Audrey! He was into Kora. LMAO. The effed up places this show makes our heads go.

tbh all things consider I'd say Henry is a well behaved and well adjusted kid. I mean this kid has been THROUGH IT. Emotionally abused and gaslit for the first 10 years of his life (so the most formative). And even now that he has a support system, his environment is still pretty unstable and he kinda lives in constant danger of the villains trying to hurt him and the people he loves. For the most part he's very well behaved and trusting of the adults around him. It's really just every now and again that he'll act too impulsively which again, considering what his life has/currently looks like, are pretty far and few between. He is still a kid who's learning and trying to make sense of everything around him. And I do think it counts for something that when he misbehaves he usually is trying to do something altruistic that he believes can save people, not just a brat that wants his way or a "i hate im not getting my way, I'll show them" 😤 thing.
