Comfort food! I practiced my English imagining myself in the scenes as the 7th friend 😂😂😂

Jennifer Lawrence

I accidentally turned some of one of my ex boyfriend's laundry pink years and years ago when I did some of his laundry with mine. 😂 It didn't turn out nearly as pink as her stuff but he definitely noticed lol Also my favorite thing about the show is the close bond the whole group has that lasts for years. I've always wanted something like that. 🥹

I love Friends because they for the most part have my kind of humor. I love playfully poking jabs at my friends and family; just having fun when we mess up or do something silly; an example for my family is once my stepdad fell off the bed in the middle of the night onto a swiss roll, and we've never let him forget it (this is two sentences by the way).

Ok I wouldn’t say friends is like my favorite show. But I think I enjoy it because it’s chill and relatable and something fun watch on a bad day.

Leanne W

Friends is a comfort show, no matter how many times I watch it or have it in the back ground, I smile like an idiot, I laugh and I cry. They feel like old friends I can return to no matter my mood.

Why I love Friends in two sentences: It's relatable, funny and the ultimate comfort show. It doesn't matter how bad I feel, Friends always puts me in a better mood ❤ Maggie Wheeler who plays Janice accidentally let out that iconic laugh (mainly due to Matthew Perry and his comedic skills) which was added to the character. Also, there were rumors that Maggie auditioned for Monica but she has denied this. And the laughs after Ross says "Yes there is a laundry room in my building" (that delivery is so good!) stems from David and Jennifer laughing after a studio light blew during a take. P.S. Ross is so cute in these episodes 😭

I swear, everything that happens in life can be related back to friends. I am constantly reminded of different moments from friends on a daily basis, so it makes life much more entertaining 😂

Jenn

Friends is one of those special shows that if you love it, you love it forever. It stays consistently funny and I can watch it over and over. Not all shows are that way! (Looking at you How I Met Your Mother! 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Tara Crothers

Friends is my comfort blanket. Depression, loneliess, happiness, any emotion, Friends is there for me.

m

ahh Janice!!!

Jeanette Dawe

hard to pick only two reasons why I love this show so much lol I guess first of all the nostalgic feeling I get when I watch it, I rewatch it a lot since I was young and it feels like the first time every time, it never gets old for me. And I just love all of their chemistry, the casting is perfect, they all work well together.

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

On the one hand I love Friends because I love group friend movies/shows, and seeing the comradery, and they deal with real life problems that you would normally deal with in your 20's. Also, I love it because of the ridiculous comedic moments that are sometimes so extreme, but it just comes off so hilariously, especially since each character has their own comedic personalities and timing, I just love the variety.

The one time I tried shrooms, I was watching Friends, and I kid you not, it was like I was sitting on the couch with them lol

I guess one of the main reasons why I have such a huge attachment to Friends (Other than it being so funny) is because it was one of the first shows I bonded with my mom over. We don’t have a relationship anymore but watching stuff like this with her will forever be in my memory. My relationship with her is part of the reason why I love Monica’s character so much because there’s a lot parallels and Monica makes me feel seen/understood.

Kyra Denise Alston

I love friends because it’s an easy watch and although the situations are sometimes crazy - it makes me feel understood. Because the characters are like 20 something trying to figure out life and so am I!

Alicia

Friends took me out of my darkest days and made me laugh. The characters felt like the friends I wish I'd had at my worst and gave me hope I could find my tribe one day.

Rebecca Karsner

I was 5 when Friends premiered and my parents watched it and I remember it just always being on and knowing their faces. When I got a little older I started watching it from the beginning and just already feeling like I knew them because of my parents watching it.. it was a comfort! Now if you wanted me to describe why I loved the show in 2 words.. that's easy... Phoebe Buffay 😁🙌

Jenny D

I love how their friendship builds and their senses of humor become more natural as time goes on, as their off air friendships become real. I also love how each time you watch it, you get something new out of it, because you're seeing it through a different stage in your own life.

Kayla🫶

friends reminds me that i have time, and even though i’m getting older, and growing up, i’m not even in my first season of friends age wise. I am 21 , and sometimes I feel like everything is happening so quickly, and my life is moving too fast, and i’m not moving with it, but friends is still there to remind me that time isn’t moving as fast as i might think it is.

Emma Schultz

I enjoy friends so much because it brings so much laughter and love in my life when I’m having a bad day. I also really just love how they all have there own backstory and personality but they all fit so perfectly as friends!

Samir

THIS! Couldn’t have said it better myself!

Hoosier Steph

I love Friends because of the actors and the comedy. It's one of those easy shows to throw on the TV and relax.

Linda

I Loved friends for many reasons,I was in my late twenty's when I started watching friends. 1st I love the friendships I had those kind of friendships in my twenties . 2nd Ross and Rachel kept me watching. 3rd. the story lines and the comedy is timeless.

Jill

I loved Frends for the comedy and escapism. Being in grad school I was around their age and could relate to not having a "pla".

Jill

I didn't know that about her laugh. Awesome.

Lucy

For me, it's comfort, it's funny; and it deals with subjects a little ahead of its time which was/is amazing - even now!

Madeline Jensen

I wouldn't say I love "Friends", but it's one of those shows that (for the most part) you can turn on no matter what season or episode, and laugh at something. You don't even have to know completely what's going on.

Sarah Aguilar

I love FRIENDS because it captures the ups and downs of friendships and relationships which created a even closer bond with me and my best friend from high school (28 years later, we are still best friends and we still quote FRIENDS:-)). Also, because of its relatable characters and witty humor FRIENDS just gives me a sense of nostalgia and comfort.

Bradley Truitt

i love friends because it makes me laugh no matter what and has always been my comfort show. i also think it delves into some deep concepts and makes you feel all the feels at times so its very diverse imo

leaszn

i love friends because of the friendships. i have never had a friend group like they do where everyone is so close and can trust each other.

Natasha Whitaker

I LOVE Friends because it is my comfort show. I get really bad anxiety and panic attacks and this show is the only one that can stop those attacks and make me laugh and come back to myself.

Mary

My best friend and I would grab our pint of ice cream that we would share and watch it every week at her house our senior year of high school. It was always our comfort show and watching it back brings back so many memories and laughs with her.

Azure R.

I love Friends because it always made me smile and laugh when I was going through rough times. It was my comfort, and really helped me unwind and let go of the bad things I was feeling.

iEffinLoveBacon

I am sooo glad the show is growing on you! It definitely gets better and better as they really hone in on their characters. I love it for many reasons but it's always been a show I can throw on no matter my mood and it always hits. I think because it reminds me of my friend group when I was in high school and how different we all were from each other.

Lauren Saunders

I love the balance of comedy and relationships. Also have fond memories watching with my dads as a kid.
