Hi Friends!  I am SO excited for today's release...  CHICKY CLICKIES!  I got a little giddy after the first print when I realized how cute a bobbing chick could be!  I had hoped for an earlier release of these, but somewhere in the last week life got in the way a bit - darn life keeping me busy!  But anyway, although it's a little delayed from my plan, with Easter coming up at the end of the month, I NEEDED a festive release and I absolutely LOVE how these adorable chick clickers with their Easter Egg Base turned out!  To add a little variety, we've included 3 different base eggs styles in this pack!  We have also included a cute little carrying basket which can be used to display!  I hope you love these little guys as much as I have! 🐣

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with Kailh Bronze, White, Jade and White V2 clickers and the White clickers are my preferred option. I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process). A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

This pack contains 3 unique egg shell designs! A zig-zag, a line with dots, and a blank egg shell. As well as a single chick cap that can be easily painted. I have included the two .3mfs of the two paint jobs I did on the chick caps but feel free to paint them how you like! There is also a display basket that holds up to 7 of these cute little guys! 

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter: 0.33mm

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

⚠️Make sure you have some kind of elephant foot compensation enabled to ensure the key cap will still fit onto the clicker without breaking. Also adjust your flow down if you have too tight of a fit or the cap keeps breaking when installed. (This is a common issue for silk PLAs). Changing the seam position to random can also help to make sure the seams don't create a weak spot on the clicker post.
