Hi Pawsitive Peoples! First, I want to thank all of you for supporting us! It has been so fun seeing others get excited about our models! I am hoping in the near future to create a communication channel for this new Patreon family that I'm so excited to see growing. However, in the mean time, feedback and suggestions in the form of DMs, comments, and emails have been great! This feedback allows us to get to know you all and what models might put smiles on your faces!

So enough of my rambling, todays release is one that puts a smile on my face! If you've read our bio, you know that the PAW in Pawpular Prints is inspired by my two favorite fur babies! I have always been a dog person even before my two little mutt puppies arrived in my life, so couldn't resist making a few different pup faces to share with you all! We have a floppy eared and a pointy eared model! 🐶

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with both the Kailh Bronze and Kailh White clickers but the White clickers are much nicer in my opinion. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process). A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

This pack contains 4 adorable puppy faces and 2 clicker bases for a total of 8 designs! An open eyes, closed eyes, open eyes with spots, closed eyes with spots for both the pointy and floppy ear models. Two bases are provided with the standard keychain configurations.

(all caps are saved as .3mf only)

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter: 0.33mm

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on the faces is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Black (Eyes/mouth/nose)

Red (ears/tongues)

Everything else (face colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

Hi! These aren’t saved like you newer files so not sure how to handle in Bambu slicer. When I import the 3mf face, I get an error about the file containing several objects positioned at multiple heights, instead of considering them at multiple objects, should the file be loaded as a single object having multiple parts. I’ve tried both ways and the file imports as one color. I go to the objects tab and I see each body part as separate pieces (all the same color) but I can’t tell what piece is what to color it myself. Can you advise? Thanks!

Pawpular Prints

Hi Angelica! Updating older files to our new standard is on our to-do list. You should say "No" to resizing the file when you open it. Unfortunately for coloring, Bambu studio doesn't make it easy to see what body you're coloring. You'll have to change the color and see what body it was and do some trial and error to get all the colors how you like them.

Guida Laser Designs

I was able to figure out each piece and color it myself. Not sure if it’s an error on my end or yours but just wanted to let you know! There was also an error when importing that said something about inches vs kilometers.

Pawpular Prints

That was on our end! We figured out a better way to save out the files and haven't had the time to go back and update the stuff that was already released. I misread your first question. There are 2 popups you will commonly see when opening these files. The first is usually about resizing from in to mm and that one is "NO". Then it may ask to import as a single object which is "YES". I'm glad you were able to get the colors figured out. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Random question - have you by any chance ever done a bulldog face clicker? My mum was asking 😂

Pawpular Prints

Sorry for the delayed response! Unfortunately, no, I don't have a bulldog face... yet?

Kristen Valenti

Would you be able to include a file with the caps face down? I'm having trouble with them looking good face up but since the colors are raised I don't think I can just flip it over

Kristen Valenti

Not in the file zipper here. Unless it’s not flipped over like normal? The spotted pup also isn’t there either

Pawpular Prints

Yea the flat ones are the upper row and the raised are the lower row in the caps file. You just need to flip them over if you want them to print face down. I'll have to see if I can figure out what happened to the spotted pup and maybe update the files!

Kristen Valenti

Oh I see that now! I didn’t look closely at each one just saw none were upside down. Thank you!
