I am currently getting ready for a wedding, but scheduled this post and am soooooo excited for today's release! A cupcake clicker has been on my list since we started Pawpular Prints. With the decision to have cupcakes instead of cake at Nick and my wedding, it introduced the perfect opportunity to design it as a wedding favor! This clicker has been a different sort of challenge, but with Nick's help, it has been so much fun to design as it's allowed me to explore new design platforms that I feel will allow me to grow as an artist as I continue this design journey! I absolutely love how these turned out and cannot wait to share them with our wedding guests today! Hope you all love them! 🧁

REMIX - Festive Cupcakes Clickies Multi-Pack can be found HERE!

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with Kailh Bronze, White, Jade and White V2 clickers and the White clickers are my preferred option. I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).  A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

There are 3 unique caps and 1 unique base in this pack! Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

I just tried printing on ENDER 3 Neo. I used cura to slice. Tried printing the base and it is a mess. Is there something else I need to do? I love the cupcakes!

I accidentally saved over my cap 3mf file, and now I don't have the original file with all of the options. How do I access this? Do I have to pay for the file to get it again?

Oh no!! But no worries! You should have an email from MyMiniFactory to the email you signed up with on Patreon that is inviting you to redeem some archived files. All you have to do is follow the link in the email and sign into MyMiniFactory (or create a new account) and you should have access to the cupcakes as well as the full Welcome Pack and any August exclusive designs! Let me know if you have any issues or if you need me to resend that MyMiniFactory email!

that's the problem - I don't seem to get those emails! I had the same problem with cinderwing a couple months ago and she had to send me the old emails. They're not in my trash, spam, etc.

Hi... is there much difference with the original cupcake base compared to the new one? Can I use the clickers you sell in the original, as well?

The original base has been updated so it's identical to the new one! Both the old and new base work with Pawpers!

When I look at the file to print, which base should I choose? I see there are 2 different ones. One has a circle inside and one does not

The one with a circle has a cutout for the leads if you have clickers that have the metal pieces on them

One more question (for now) ... Have you printed these in Matte PLA?

I have! Matte can be more brittle so it kinda depends on the manufacturer as the caps have that very small + that tends to break off easier with matte and silk filaments

I have printed almost all my clickers in matte PLA and had no problems at all. I use eSun, Overture, Elegoo, Gratkit, Ziro and Sunlu matte PLA
