There have been A LOT of Halloween themed clicker requests lately, so Halloween it shall be... for the next month... until everyone starts requesting Christmas!

Anywho, for this first Halloween release, I wanted to keep it simple so decided on a pack of Jack-o-lanterns! As a kid, and still as an adult, carving pumpkins has been one of my favorite Halloween traditions. I have never been any good at carving pumpkins, as knives and I don't typically get along and I tend to accidentally cut half my pumpkins face off.. This pack has allowed me to (FINALLY) create all the fun designs I only wish I could do on a real pumpkin - without defacing it! I've designed a variety of faces in this pack, but also included a few bonus Halloween themed 'carvings!' 🎃

09-06-24: Added a version 2 for the pumpkin bases with a wider stem to help with print issues.

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with Kailh Bronze, White, Jade and White V2 clickers and the White clickers are my preferred option. I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).  A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

There are 18 unique caps and 1 unique bases in this pack! Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration. There is also a colored set of bases if you want to print the stem a different color like in the pictures!

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Small Detail (carved features, eyes, mouth, nose)

Everything else (base colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!
