Hi everyone! I am super excited to announce another Halloween themed release: The Ghostly Clickers! You can't celebrate Halloween without at least one or two ghosts floating around! You can't have just one ghost body, so I may have made a variety of bodies and a few faces to go along with! We have some happy, friendly and my attempt at spoooooky ghosts! I had fun with these little guys and hope you like my spooky friends!! ๐Ÿ‘ป

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with Kailh Bronze, White, Jade and White V2 clickers and the White clickers are my preferred option. I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).  A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

There are 3 unique bases in this pack each with 4 unique faces for a total of 12 unique clickers! Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Small Detail (Eyes, Mouth, Tongue)

Everything else (Base Colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design.

โš ๏ธWARNINGโš ๏ธ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! ๐Ÿพ

YAY! these will go great with my pumpkins

what temp do you recommend for a heat gun to clean up the fine details? ive been having the white looking kinda smeared but havent been able to figure out how to fix it yet

Pawpular Prints

No measured temperature, just enough to melt those little whisps that sometimes get left behind as the printer moves to the next object. We just have a harborfreight one next to the printer and we'll hit it if we remember which isn't very often

am i the only one having issues getting the clicker to fit in these? the ones i use work perfectly with everything else, i'm just struggling with these ones. :(

Pawpular Prints

Hi! What clickers did you buy? If you bought any of the linked clickers on the Clicker Kmfprmstion post, those should all work. Make sure you're cutting or bending the metal leads on the clicker to allow the clicker to fully click into the base! If you're still having issues, pop into the help channel on Discord so we can see pictures! Hope this helps!

Just some small improvement request: Can you please include photos with the files for download? Also include a small text file for best settings. That way we don't have to go back and forth from file to this page looking for photos of what they look like. Thanks in advance :-)

Check out the Midnight Mayhem files and let me know if that works for you!

Hello! Im using kailh box jade switches but with these ghosts there is a couple mm gap between the base and the cap when assembled. Ive made the axolotls and pumpkins before this but there wasnt a gap on those. if i try and smash the switch in further then it goes in on one side and we end up with a wonky gap :')

Pawpular Prints

Hi Hayley! That doesn't sound right! Are you clipping or folding over the metal leads on the clicker so it can fully snap into the base? If you haven't already, I would join the Discord. We have a very active help channel and you can send pictures of your issue so we can get a better understanding of your issue. You can find a link to the Discord in the Announcments collection, Discord post.
