Hi again! Today's release came about from a request for some clickers resembling Lunar or Chinese New Year. This is a hodge-podge of designs that are relate the Chinese New Year Celebration, such as a Lion Dance Mask and some dumplings. As it is the year of the Snake, I obviously had to try my hand a snake clicker to go along with this pack! I can't say fitting a Snake on the clicker was the easiest of tasks, but I am happy how this pack ultimately turned out and hope you have some fun with it! 🐍πŸ₯Ÿ

⚠️Note: The Lion Mask has a lot of tiny details so make sure to print with the recommended print settings below πŸ‘‡ for the best results! βš οΈ

Updates

01-13-25: Lion Mask was incorrect size. Added smaller base and larger cap so there are now two size options for the Lion Mask!

Year of the Clickers Multi-Pack can be found HERE!

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).

This pack contains 4 unique base shapes and 10 unique caps. Raised variants are offered where able. Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.

Photo Colors 🎨

Red - Hatchbox True Red PLA

Yellow - Overture PLA Professional Light Yellow

Green - Elegoo Neon Green

Tan - PolyTerra Army Beige

Pink - PolyTerra Sakura Pink

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

First Layer Extrusion Width (Initial Layer Line Width): 0.35mm (recommended)

Only one wall on first layer: True ⚠️(Required for Lion Mask)

Detect Thin Walls: True ⚠️(Required for Lions Mask)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Small Detail (Pupils, Tongue)

Medium Detail (Eyes, Mouth)

Everything Else (Base Colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design (flat designs ONLY)

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

OH MY GOD WE LOVE THESE!!!!!

Very nice design. I am not sure if I have it print correctly, but the mask base is bigger than the face, about 4 mm on each side. Please let me know any special setting on the base.

Hi Trong, there was announcment on Discord about this but I made the lion bigger cuz I felt the details were too small and I wanted it to print better. It looks like I updated the base file but forgot to do the cap so there is a miss match. I'll have it corrected in a few hours when I'm home from the day job! Sorry for any inconveniences.

Hello! I am a new member and starting to print my first clickers. I am a little confused on the last NOTE section about the order to print the details. How do you set in Bambu Studio the order to print parts? Also, do they print face down?

Ed

This is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much!!

Mrs Tam

I'm new to 3d, I thought when we downloaded the files into bambu studio that it was all set ready to print? Are you telling people all those instructions in case they run diff programs?
