Hi! I am super excited for today’s pack: the Byte-Size Bots! I set out to design these not really knowing what I was going for, but had so much fun creating a few fun robot shapes and faces! After our test printing I was so happy with these! I had one reject robot that didn’t make it to our photographer and it's quite possible my reject bot has been in my purse and showed off to everyone I see! Something about the cuteness packed into a little bitty clicky-bot just makes me smile! I absolutely LOVE these and hope you love them too! πŸ€–πŸ’“

Byte-Size Bots Multi-Pack can be found HERE!

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).

This pack contains 3 unique base designs and 9 decorative caps. Raised variants are offered where able. Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.

Photo Colors 🎨

Black - Galaxy Matte Black

Red - Cookiecad Ruby Red Elixir

Pink - Cookiecad Pixie Dust PLA

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

First Layer Extrusion Width (Initial Layer Line Width): 0.35mm (recommended)

Only one wall on first layer: True (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Small Detail (Pupils, Mouth)

Medium Detail (Eyes, Screen)

Everything Else (Base Colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design (flat designs ONLY)

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

Do you post thw clickers to australia i jist tryed to purchase some :( xx

Pawpular Prints

We do! Australia is actually our favorite country cuz you can ship up to 2k pawpers and so far, there have not been any additional taxes or duties. If you would like to place an order, you can go ahead and order and ignore the "Testers only", i just like to make sure people understand there may be additional taxes and fees and they will be your responsibility to pay. Let me know if you have any issues!
